No bloating and taste good - low temp processed.
I've tried several different protein powders including dozens of grass-fed whey powders and beef protein powders. However, it terms of ease of digestion (no bloating or gas), results and taste, this brand due it's low temp processing requirements, is by far the best if you have a lactose issue.

I can digest this!!
I have been lactose intolerant sine my mid 20's, I am 45 and have been taking plant protein powders forever. I have always heard that whey is superior to plant powders but couldn't take it due to digestive issues. Then I came across info that told me whey isolate usually has most of it's lactose removed naturally from processing. Why have I not heard this before? Anyway, I decided to try some isolates out but would not settle for anything less than grass-fed, non gmo with minimal additives if any at all. I came across this and gave it a try. It has been wonderful, in my opinion it mixes easily, tastes ok, typical whey pro powder taste, and best of all, I can digest it. I have also started taking Iconic Protein Powder and have had the same results with that. I am now on my second order of both of these. I will say at first, and sometime still at random, I notice a little bit of gas which I attribute to these products, but it is minimal and sometimes not present at all. It is so minimal that I really don't even care about it as it is not bothersome, not like drinking a pure glass of milk, If I did that, God help whoever is standing next to me in an elevator an hour later lol...but from what I understand, not all lactose can be removed in the whey isolate creation process so this is understandable. Since beginning taking both of these powders two or three times a day I have started making some gains so I feel great about that, although I have also started taking dextrose powders with these in my protein shakes right after workouts which is supposed to help drive the shake into your muscles better, seems to be working for me. For those interested, right after a workout I take one or two scoops of these powders, about 1/2 serving dextrose, about 30g carbs according to label, (you can also use glucose powders), and some creatine, 3-5 grams, and i really feel it gets in me. Hope this review helps I will def be continuing this product and also Iconic Protein Powder. I will be submitting this same review for theIconic Protein Powder so if you read them both and it sounds identical that's because it mostly is--cheers.

Holy Stevia!
This was a tough product to rate. I gave 4 stars instead of 3 because I am just not used to stevia so maybe that is on me. And everything else about the product is great. I will say I would give the taste of this product 1 star.Grass fed cows, no hormones, their only additive is non-gmo, no artificals colors or sweeteners...I love all of that. It also comes at a great price point for a pure protein. But my goodness...the stevia. Full disclosure I haven't gotten into the stevia craze so I'm not accustomed to it. I just don't understand why people who are presumably into their health want an added sweetener in their protein? Just add real ingredients to your blender or smoothie cup.I prefer the source organic brand...there are no sweeteners...just raw protein. That isn't delicious either, but it is mild. If you put it in a fruit smoothie, you don't taste it. I'd love for this company to offer a non-flavored protein. However, this is half price of Source's product. Not sure which way I'll go when this runs out.In my typical morning smoothie, I put strawberry, blueberry, banana, peanut butter, and cinnamon into the blender. With all of that, you can STILL taste stevia...and I don't use a full scoop.Maybe I'll get used to it after consuming 2 lbs...I'd rather get an unflavored protein with a vile of organic vanilla extract on the side.Props to this company for the purity of their ingredients though.

Have been using this product for years, however, ...
Have been using this product for years, however, the last batch (purchased from Amazon) has caused a revolt in my family...it is weak and has an unpalatable flavor. The product is nearly gone and my family will not drink any more of it. Further, I will not purchase this product from any source again until I hear from BlueBonnet letting me know what has happened. From the container ID sticker:XOOOBJG1X (100638854)BlueBonnet 100% Natural Whey Protein IsolatePowder, Original, 2.2 PoundI just noticed that the label says:Manufactured for Bluebonnet Nutrition Corp.12915 Dairy AshfordSugar Land, Texas 77478 USAIf Bluebonnet Nutrition Corp.does not make the product then who does? Also is it made in America and from American cow's milk?Respectfully yours, JBK Texas07.14.2016Called Bluebonnet directly and spoke with the Customer Representative. It turns out that my family objected to the Original Flavor taste and there was no product contamination or degradation. Did not know that the Original Flavor flavor existed because over all the years we used only the French Vanilla flavor (our previous vendors did not carry the Original Flavor). The Amazon 2.2 # container comes as the Original Flavor only. The Original Flavor has a terrible taste and I have been instructed to ensure that the Original Flavor is never purchased again. The attraction to the 2.2# size was its price, about $4 less than the 2# container. It was not worth the savings in my case. However, I am seeking a better price, either from a different vendor or a different product.All-in-all, Bluebonnet handled the process well. The product is made in the USA from milk provided by USA herds. They offered to replace the 2.2# container with more Original Flavor product. The offer was withdrawn when it was determined that the taste was the problem and not a defective product, and that we wanted nothing more to do with the Original Flavor. My familial insurrection was caused by a purchasing error, not a bad product. Have changed the review to four stars for THE FRENCH VANILLA FLAVOR, the Original Flavor is still a 1 at best.Respectfully yours, JBK Texas
