This is exactly what you want in a ladder. Sturdy (I weigh close to the 300lb load limit, and I don't want to feel like the ladder is swaying when I am 8 feet in the air), has feet that don't scuff the floors, is reasonably lightweight (given the size), and has a ton of tool organization options at the top. I am very happy with this, and ordering from Amazon meant that I didn't need to figure out how to get an 8' ladder home from the hardware store. I was a bit concerned with the negative reviews reporting that people got used and/or broken ladders. From what I can tell, these are pretty much all nonsense. The ladder ships (at least mine did) with no box--just a bit of plastic wrap around the bottom and middle to hold it closed. If the ladder gets damaged in shipping (always a possibility) I have to believe that Amazon will replace it the way they do anything else. And I simply don't believe the people complaining about receiving a used ladder--yes, my ladder has a couple of scuff marks from shipping. Who cares--it's a ladder. It's a tool that lives in the garage, not an item of decor that lives in the house. I guess if it's really important to you that your ladder look as pristine when you receive it as the day it left the factory you need to go to the hardware store and choose the perfect one for you.

Strongly recommended for anyone over 100Kg (220 pounds). I had the lighter model and felt unsafe on it. Yeah, a few buck more, but well worth it. Nice sturdy ladder. gac

It's a bit ob the heavy side, but a very sturdy ladder.

Impossible to find a 7ft ladder in stock in a store, so I ordered this one. It's the perfect height for getting to my roof from our 2nd story deck and light-weight to carry up two flights of stairs by myself (60-yr old lady). It's very sturdy and I felt secure all the way to the top step. Excellent value. We have the biggest Little Giant stepladder which is indispensable in its own way, but it's very heavy and I'm getting to old to try to get that thing up the stairs by myself!

I clicked on the incorrect 7ft ladder, I had wanted a platform ladder, so I was going to return it, but the return said $3.15 to return via USPS. Put it in your mailbox and the postal worker will pick it up. It is a great laddder, very sturdy, if you need a 7 ft ladder.

Cleaning the gutters at my parents' house used to take the balance the of ballerina and the death defying attitude of a NASCAR driver due to the old rickety wooden ladder that they had. Knowing it was time for a replacement, I ordered this for them and am very glad that I did. The ladder is very sturdy but also lightweight enough that my mother can easily move it around. It stays in place nicely and now cleaning the gutters is just a plain old boring event. Thanks Werner! Overall, if you need a 6-foot ladder you can't go wrong here. Recommended.

Excellent, sturdy ladder. Published max. standing height is 9'7", reach height 16'. I'm 6' tall and have 16'-10" ceilings, and with this ladder am able to reach the ceiling with what I consider to be a safe reach. Ladder is just under 50 lbs. and at 67 yrs. old I am able to carry and set up fairly easily. Chose this fiberglass ladder because it was actually lighter than the aluminum ladders made by Werner, probably because of duty rating. Delivery was exceptional - bought Sunday night and delivered Tuesday morning.

I bought a 5 foot Werner ladder. In the reviews Many complained of receiving a beat-up ladder which resembled a used one. Mine had a couple of scratches on it ; no big deal. Werner should, perhaps, wrap their ladder in cardboard or shrink rap to help reduce dings and scratches during shipping. But the ladder is a good one, solid and well built.
