Product was as described -soft, plushy, and velcro middle. Aussie at first wanted to get inside the velcro at the pod that was making the heartbeat. Did not 'bite or try to tear it apart'. After the 2d night, he LOVED it and was audibly upset when the 'heartbeat' stopped. Not sure why the device did not last through the night with fresh batteries, but we will keep trying. Maybe our Aussie is lying on top of it and cutting it off, not sure. At any rate he has 'bonded' with it and now we just need it to calm him down during the next thunderstorm. Well worth the money.

Our chihuahuas are litter mates. They were the entire litter. They are sisters. Sadly one of them died on Saturday June 22, 2024. The remaining sister grieved heavily and is still very depressed. She was wandering around the house looking for her sister. She wasn’t eating well, didn’t want to go outside for walks, and didn’t seem to enjoy car rides. We bought her the pink heartbeat puppy. At first she would get up and move away from it when we placed it near her. Now she snuggles up to it or next to it and seems to be sleeping much better. She has begun to eat regularly, go for walks, and seems to enjoy car rides. She still seems to be grieving but she and her sister were never apart for their entire lives. They turn 14 on August 30, 2024. So far this puppy has been perfect. It is so soft, long enough to spoon her entire body, and has no scent that I can sense. I am sure she smells the cloth, heart beat mechanism’s plastic, etc. The heartbeat is a little faster than an adult dog’s regular rate. But, our sweet tea cup chihuahua doesn’t seem to mind this. Or, she has such good manners she is being polite by not mentioning it. 😂💗💗💗

I bought for a litter of small breed orphanPuppies I was fostering. The item was super soft and cuddly. I turned it on mostly at night and I think it helped the puppies sleep.

Works for my pups

My new pups are only 8 weeks and just left their litter mates. This stuffed toy has been extremely helpful for easing their anxiety. They sleep on it very comfortably. Having both pups is easier on them but if i only had one this item would be extremely necessary and worth every penny.

This heartbeat snuggle puppy is a great thing - as long as you can get it to work. It does not come with batteries so you should have some to be ready to use it. I got it for my new puppy who cried all night her first night home. Ordered this at 5 a.m. and it was here for our 2nd night together. Hallelujah, we all got some sleep and have been sleeping until 6 each morning. The problem is that the heartbeat disk does not turn on or off easily. I have to push the button over and over to get it to turn on or off. Very frustrating. I even bought new batteries and it’s still not working properly so no idea how long it will work before finally failing.

The media could not be loaded. I got this for my puppy who has separation anxiety and has a complete meltdown if she is left home alone for more than 5 minutes. I put it in her crate along with other toys (she’s an aggressive chewer when anxious) 2 days ago and the screaming she does when I leave has dramatically decreased. She still barks for a bit when I leave but not throughout the day as much anymore. It’s held up well so far, which is something I can’t say about some of her other toys. I’ll definitely repurchase!
