I breed and train German Shepherds for service dogs, I love these collars. I’ve tried others, and they would not release therefore, choking my dogs. They are speedy but! Well worth it.

Anything made by Herm Sprenger is wonderfully made and high quality. This collar is no exception.

Herm Sprenger has excellent quality training collars. This is a solid training collar for very large breeds (ex. English Mastiff). However, the rectangular links are not as smoothly moving as oval links…. For quick corrections this training collar is okay but not optimal.

It was time for a larger collar for our Rottweilers .. I don't know why or how but after getting these collars both our Rotties got a bad reaction and started to loose hair and got scabs around their neck . I didn't use these collars for training , just used them walking and socializing the pups with no pulling and just normal wear . I don't know , the Vet said they got a bad reaction from them (no kidding). I removed them and put on some old collars we had from some of our other dogs after their necks healed up and had no problem .

This is the best dog collar chain, the black coating does not flake off, Herm Sprenger collars are not harsh against the dog’s fur, easy to adjust, strong links to last years.
