I'm currently in a rental that had a really ugly bathroom floor. It was older linoleum and just looked ugly and had holes gouged in it from previous tenants probably. I didn't want to spend much $ on a place i don't own and also want to avoid making permanent changes because it's a rental, so i decided to try some cheap contact paper. I cleaned the linoleum really well first, let floor fully dry, and then laid down the contact paper. After i finished, i put new silicone caulking (that's what the owner had around the edges of the linoleum instead of wood edging) so the edges wouldn't peel up and to seal water from it. It looks great! You can't even see the seams. It blends really well and even though you'd think it'd be too thin to withstand walking on it, it's held up very nicely. No tear or damage. It looks like i just put down actual flooring. It's waterproof and cleans easily also. Long as you don't scrape out with sharp objects or sharp furniture, it doesn't get damaged or worn down. I typically am always in socks or slippers at home, occasionally barefoot. No damage still, looks nice and would recommend! Very easy to put down and much cheaper than adhesive tiles or other options. If you're unhappy with flooring somewhere in your rental, i definitely would recommend looking up some shade of wood contact paper and giving it a shot! Took me 2 rolls to cover a 5ft×8ft area, with a little left over. As someone else has mentioned, it is difficult to see the purple and the light blue/turquoise color and tan and grayish hue is most noticeable, so if you're going for a purple look, this might not be for you, but the blue/tan/gray are very pretty. I now have a "new" bathroom floor for only about $40. $30 for 2 rolls of the contact paper and about $10 of silicone caulking. Very cheap and viable solution for rentals!!

I was a little iffy about the peel and stick, but this was SO easy and user friendly. I am absolutely pleased with how this looks in my livingroom as an accent wall. The amount on the roll was well worth money and the quality is amazing and not thin. Had no bubbles when putting it up except 1 and it was easy to get out. I highly recommend using one of the tools that helps put it on, makes it so much easier as well. Looks amazing and reflexes well with the new fish tank (setup in process, not a dirty tank) LOL.

The vinyl contact paper is quite thin and I was surprised at how easy it is to tear, but the price is low enough that it isn't an issue. I used it to line my son's "treasure chest" and it sticks on very well. The pattern is pretty easy to work with, too, and adding pieces choppily just looks like different planks of wood and isn't bad looking. There are guidelines on the back to make cutting easy. The color is nice and I like it, but I don't expect it to last very long with how thin it is.

This is so easy to apply. I'm redoing my countertops and it's been a breeze so far. The colors are more vibrant in the sunlight. Absolutely gorgeous!

I like this design a lot but it was difficult to work it. I used it to cover a box but it kept splitting and ripping. I made it work so I gave it 3 stars.

I wish it was a little thicker. But for the price it’s good. I can’t wait to finish bc I didn’t have enough. Always buy more so you won’t have to wait and buy more.
