I love all the research and information in this cookbook. I would like to advise that "pinch of salt" evidently is not 1/16th teaspoon as my research has shown. As an American I find that most recipes take about 1/2 teaspoon salt for each cup of flour. Making these excellent recipes with less salt may be fine for someone on a low salt diet but be aware that your results and expectations will suffer if you indeed use only a "pinch"

I just read through these and would really love to try some of these recipes. Some of them have ingredients that I am afraid would be hard to find but they all sound delicious!

Wonderful recipes and sumptuous photos of dishes and cast members. My only real problem is that the Kindle version is very hard to read. The print is small and faint and enlarging it still doesn't help much. I will cook appetizers, soups, savories, in particular, I'm sure. So much of it looks rather too much trouble, though.
