Beautiful and functional
It is very pretty on a mantel with having a fuctional addition to it without being in view

Solid concealment, needs work.
This is an excellent concealment clock for a mantle or comperable location that people will not sit directly next to.If you sit up close with a side-view from inches away, the obvious seam, and lock bump on the back gives it away. However on a mantle or bookshelf away from guest seating, it retains concealment. The only thing that needs work are the lower hinges. They used shiny brass hinges. If you take a black or brown marker to them, you can blend the hinges in, and further concealment.Clock is basic quartz powered by a single AA battery, but has kept good time for a few months so far.I would give this 5 stars despite these issues because with smart placement, it is perfect for the role i am using it.

"Almost Perfect"
The clock works like clock work(pun intended). And the wood structure is well crafted with a beautiful look. Plus the hidden compartment gives you plenty of room to store products. So you can say it's perfect, but yet it isn't. For the battery section does not allow you to place the battery completely in, and yes it is the right sized battery. But even with the battery not fitting properly the clock still works like clock work.

Looked exactly like the picture
Loved this clock. Bought it as a gift. It was hard to give it away! I will be purchasing one for myself. It was a beautiful piece. A great addition to any decor. It was well made which surprised me; considering the price. I would highly recommend.

If you need a hidden safe, then this clock is for you.
I bought this hidden safe as a gift and can I tell you how realistic it looks. Just by first glace, you wouldn't be able to tell that if you open it up, it is a safe. Even if you stare at it you still wouldn't know;not to mention that is a working clock. it is very stylish, sophisticated and it can go well with any piece in the house. The lock is sturdy so it doesn't just pop open randonly. I will definitely purchase more of these as gifts in the future.

WORKS GREAT
I was able to shoot three intruders because they never thought to check this clock for a hidden weapon......NO NOT REALLY, GEEZ.It is a high quality mantle clock however, that looks very nice on your mantle as well as providing hidden storage for whatever you put in there.I have in fact bought two others as gifts since my first purchase.

Overpriced garbage!
I really didn’t expect much with a price tag of $44.95. With low expectations, this product still found a way to disappoint me.The packaging came in good shape, and the clock was packed in styrofoam.Unpacking the clock revealed production flaws. While I’m certain the good people over at Zhangzhou Zhongfu Wood Industries of China are no doubt craftsmen, I’ll chalk this up as one that somehow made it through quality control. The magnet latch had come undone in transit, as the screws appear way too short. I believe it’s fixed (fingers crossed) with a reinstallation and some super glue. The clock face had specks of black plastic stuck to it. That had to be disassembled, blown out, and reinstalled. The lower left leg of the clock had a pretty good scuff, which I ended up blending in with a touch-up marker. The finish is poor, with noticeable runs in the topcoat. The door hinges are visible from the exterior. The packaging states “attractive wood construction”; the only thing on this that may be wood is MAYBE some veneer. With that being said, YES, you do get what you pay for, but considering the poor craftsmanship, this thing shouldn’t run more than $20-$25.Buyer beware!

Not a quick draw clock
Very nice clock and closure but when you try you open the door it very difficult . That’s not a good thing if you need to get in it fast
