I read this text with the aim of getting a first impression of the field, and am satisfied with it overall.

I cannot comment on the substance of this book. I returned it because the print was by far the tiniest I have ever seen in any book. It was like trying to read the small print in a drug packaging insert. I don't know what the publisher was thinking.

This was exactly what I expected and wanted. It game a cliff notes style introduction and insight to field of clinical psychology.
