Q: Does anyone know the gauge thickness? Like can I use these for a regular 1st lobe piercing?

It is slightly bigger than your typical lobe piercing. I used it for my first hole and it was a little sore for a day or 2 but then was fine!

Q: Is it ok to wear in the shower?

Do not wear them in water. Soap, shampoo and chlorine will hurt them over time. Also take them off prior to using hair spray.

Q: What is the material of the post?

They are all the same material - sterling silver (i believe). I have not had a reaction with these earrings since I put them on. And I sleep and shower with them.

Q: Is there an earring back

No. Back of earrings will be in the front of your ear. You put your earrings on as you normally do. But, you push them all the way in. So the part you put in the front of your ear, comes back around to the front. They are different than any earrings You’ve had. I love them, I sleep in them with no problem. I did have to squeeze them once I put them in, to make them tighter. I have thin ears. I hope this helps you.
