TevaWomen's Omnium Sandal

Immediately Comfortable
These sandals/shoes are very comfortable. They are adjustable in 3 different ways to achieve a good fit. I usually wear a 9 but ordered a 9.5 which fits well. hey are not stiff and do not require extensive "breaking in" prior to a hike.

Comfortable
I usually wear a size 9 in flip flops or anything without socks and that's the size I got. Very comfortable so far, there is some arch support, which I need. I like the wider toe box.

Great Summer Walking Shoe
I like walking in the woods in the summer -- this is a great shoe for that purpose. Also, they're great for shopping and bopping around the neighborhood. I love the cutouts -- keeps airflow on my feet, so they stay nice and cool.I usually wear a size 10, but those are too small. I order a 10.5 -- perfect! Also, because I have high arches, I need support. I put inserts in these, because otherwise -- these shoes don't offer much arch support. They look like they're arched on the outside, but when you look inside, it's pretty flat. Some people can handle that -- but I can't. I need the support. No worries, though: an arch support insert slips in easily. And because the shoes have a heel, the inserts stay inside, no slipping.I'll even wear them when I'm just hanging around the house -- because they're as comfortable as slippers, I can forget to take them off when I get home. They're great shoes, and I'll probably buy them again when they wear out. This is my second pair -- each pair usually lasts 2-3 years. I walk around 3-5 miles a day in the summer. Excellent value, and well made.

Good for summertime hiking and biking
These sandals are comfortable with adequate arch support. I love them for riding my bike as it gives good toe protection while being airy on a hot summer day. Teva has always made great sandals and is well known for that! Problem with hiking in open sandals is that debris can get into your feet, but on a real hot day it may be worse to wear a closed hiking shoe if you can't tolerate the heat.

Love these Teva's
Let me start my saying that I constantly struggle with finding shoes to fit my feet (bunions, hammer toes, wide foot with relatively high arch). Prior to purchasing these Teva's I made a trip to REI and tried on KEENs which did not fit my foot. The styles I tried on did not provide enough arch support. I usually wear a size 7 to 7.5 depending upon the shoe and style. I ordered both sizes in the Teva's and the 7 fit perfect. It was an easy decision to purchase both sizes because of the free return policy. I was looking for a sandal with toe protection which made the Teva Omnium a good choice. Additionally they were nearly $40 cheaper than other name brand water sandals. These shoes provide solid arch support and are very comfortable. They are wide enough to accommodate my feet and fit well around ankle providing support. I wore them on several occasions during my trip to Oahu but they were honestly not great beach shoes for me (sand wedged between the back strap and my heal) and they take a moment to get on and off. They are great on trails and have excellent traction. I am very happy with this purchase.

I question if they’re real…
I like the look of these and they seem very comfortable, however I’m going to return or exchange them, as they say they’re the same size but they don’t even look same shape. See picture.

Arrived with a broken lace - the other reviews were right
These arrived in a generic box which made me a little suspect, but not a big deal. Opened the box and one of the shoes has a broken lace. A lot of the other reviewers mentioned the lace snapping quickly. They were right. The leasing seems to be a very, very weak point rendering the shoe useless.. So that’s a no star.

Great shoe but size up
I have bought Omnium several times over the years and love it for walking. It has great support and has kept my plantar fasciitis from returning. But it seems that some time in the past few years it was downsized. I had the same experience as many buyers, that in my usual size 8 the new one was a great struggle to get my foot through the opening. Compared to my old pair, it was 1/2" smaller in diameter at the opening and 1/4" shorter in the rubber sole (so it was not just that the upper in my old one was stretched). I reordered in size 8-1/2 and it measured and fit just like my old size 8. If you find the opening snug but not a struggle you have the right size, but if you have to fight to get it on you would do well to try the next size. The footbed is not much bigger. The upper will soften and stretch a bit with wear, but not by a lot.
