This headset has everything I want, except the ear hooks I need to keep the earbuds in my ears when I'm active. The earbuds fit my ears better than many and the headset is comfortable to wear, but for me ear hooks are a necessary evil. I have ear hooks that came as spares with other headsets, but the design of this headset doesn't permit their use.Sound quality is excellent: crisp, clear, well balanced and with enough bass to keep me happy when listening to the music I enjoy as well as audio books when on the treadmill.Volume is also excellent, with a range among the best of any earphone type headset that I have tried. You can wear them in a noisy environment and be sure you can hear without straining.The controls are on a box on the cable about 3" below the "right" ear piece. On me, just below my jaw bone. The controls are responsive and the volume buttons are marked "+" and "-" in raised letters to help your fingers find them. The only problem I've had when changing the volume was caused by the multi-function being on the opposite side of the box. To press the volume buttons you need to hold the box steady and it is easy to also press the MF button when adjusting the volume. So when you adjust the volume you may find your self making a phone call that you didn't intend to make. But as you get used to using the box your fingers begin to adjust to the right placement.Pairing the first time was easily done Smart i9). Press the MF button until the red and blue flashing light on the box tells you the headset is in the pairing mode.I had surprising experience when testing the headset. My cell phone was on the computer desk and earbuds were in my ears. Music was coming through just fine. I thought of something I wanted from another room, so without thinking I got up, walked down a short hall, and turned into the other room. There was momentary break in the music, but then the music continued uninterrupted, much to my surprise, even though there was a thick wall between the headset and the cell phone. I have tested a number of headsets, and this is only the second one that could do that.Included with the headset are a charge cable, a set of smaller earbuds, and a user guide. The guide is complete, except the print is small enough that I used a magnifying glass to read it.There are magnets at the end of each ear piece so that you can "snap" them together to make a necklace when the headset is hanging around your neck between uses to keep it from slipping off.If this headset had ear hooks, it would definitely be 5 stars based on sound quality and performance. But it doesn't, so for me and others like me who need ear hooks too make full use of this headset, I am giving it 4 stars.Sample provided for testing and review

This is a nice sounding set of Bluetooth Sports headphones. They have a nice flat response across the spectrum which is a good thing. They are comfortable to wear and the battery life is excellent.The headphones have a nice bass response. If I had to nit-pick the bass can be a bit sloppy or muddied at times but overall pretty good. The mid-range is smooth and clear. The high-end is pretty good but could use a touch better clarity to make them perfect. With all of that said these sound really nice and I believe most people will love them. As someone who has tested a few hundred pairs of headphones and reviewed quite a few I can be hard to please and I would have no problem wearing these.I like the fact that these headphones use the APT-X system which provides higher bandwidth for music, thus better sound. It makes such a different that I can tell nearly immediately when I'm testing a set of headphones that do not use it.The controls are on the right side and work as they should. Pressing the + and - buttons quickly will adjust the volume and pressing them longer will move backwards and forward in your track listing. One thing to note is that the volume of the headphones is not tied to the volume of your phone or device so you'll want to put your phone's volume up at or near the maximum and adjust on the headphones for the best sound quality.I found these to be comfortable to wear but did feel the right side move every now and again, perhaps due to the control box being on that side. The headphones never popped out of my ear when using them.The earbuds have magnets in the ends so they will close into a loop so you can wear them around your neck when not using them and not have to worry that they will fall off.Overall these are nice sounding headphones that are comfortable to wear and worth the price for the sound quality that you get.
