Logitech Hd Webcam C270, 720p Widescreen Video Calling & Recording (960-000694), 3.15 Lb

I was in need for a webcam. I had purchased this exact camera from Amazon on February 26, 2018 for another family member. That one still works to this day and has given them zero issues. They also use it 5, sometimes 6 days a week for work video calls (Zoom and Teams). Since that one held up for this long, it was no brainer to order another.Upon taking it out of the box, and plugging it into my computer, it was recognized and working. It literally took me longer getting it out of the box than setting it up for a call. This was on Windows 11. Picture was clear and much sharper than some of those I am on calls with. I would recommend this product.

I use this for meetings at work and it has been great. It provides good enough quality that I look clear on camera, but not super high definition to the point where everyone can see every pore and blemish on my face. It was easy to use, just plugged it in and it worked with both MS Teams and Zoom. I like the status light on it because it makes it clear when my camera is in use. I did put a standard sliding cover over it and it stuck no problem and covers the whole lens area. The camera support is a folding assembly designed for a laptop so if your monitors don't have a flat back, it may be angled. This wasn't an issue for me, but I could see it causing some people trouble since it does not swivel from side to side, only up and down.

This is a nice camera for PC or anydevice. It has a better quality but if there a zoom out setting or if the camera zoom out a bit by the manufacturer settings. It would be great. As i am using it for couple of months it looks like the camera is just 15 inches away as i kept almost 30 inches away for the head distance

I use it a few times a month and it works well for an inexpensive camera.

I needed a camera for in-line use pretty quickly as the group I belong to made a decision to go to ZOOM about four days earlier. I had seen the Logitech name previously and might have used one or more products from them in the past and don't recall any problems. When it arrived, while it had extremely sparse instructions, it was totally evident to me what I had to do to set it up. Within 15 more minutes I had it aligned on a preliminary setup and was ready to go. Seems to work pretty well under low light conditions such as is in my office. I would say the only negative part was they had no real instructions and that might be helpful to someone with less experience.

I received a Logitech C270 camera. However, it is a different SKU. The US version (and the one advertised here on Amazon) is 960-000694. The one I received is 960-000999. From Googling it - it looks like it is a version for a different country.No big deal - except it does not work with a US version of Windows 10. The seller of this is NOT Amazon. They are feeding on the pandemic and shipping a camera they know will not work on US computers. In my opinion it is fraud.I have sent them a message. If they agree to accept the camera back I will not post their name and let it go. But if they don't, then I'll post their name, leave them negative feedback and also report them to both Amazon and my local attorney general.

The inability to focus this camera is definitely a 'get what you pay for' feature. I used this on a 3D printer and I'm still trying to find the best location with the best focus. The subject needs to be about 24-32in away from the camera. Not ideal for close up videography.

Just a good a basic webcam with a decent picture and decent microphone. Works well for video calls and meetings in a remote work environment. I originally bought this model back in 2013 and it lasted 10 years before the microphone started to go out, so I didn't hesitate to buy it again when the original needed to be replaced. I was happy to see after all this time they are still making this model.
