3.7v 1200mAh Replacement Battery for Sony Gold Wireless Stereo Headset - PlayStation 4

I bought this to increase the battery life I get when using the 2018 edition PlayStation Gold Wireless Headset.Installation is easy. You remove the right ear cup and use a phillips head screwdriver the size you'd find in your average eyeglass kit. Battery is actually smaller than the OEM. So far 16 hours before the PS4 console notified me battery was low.Took around 6 hours before I lost a bar of battery. I didn't let it run down the last time. Will allow it to run from full charge to dead to see how long it lasts. Definitely at least doubles battery life on my headset. Doesn't take much longer to charge up either.

I replaced the battery in my 2 year old Sony PS4 headset and I think I just got another 2 years of use out of it. The old battery used to die after about 3 hours of gaming. So every night I would have to charge this thing. Since I’ve replaced the battery, I can play 3-4 nights in a row without the battery needing to charge again. I think this replacement battery is actually lasting longer than the original battery did when it was brand new. Anyways, I’m very happy with this new battery and it was very easy to swap out.

It seems that some batteries come with the wires backwards (positive and negative switched), but this one came with the wires in the correct spots, and a basic level of charge.It's smaller, and it doesn't have the clips like the OEM battery so make sure that you use some double sided thick tape to secure it to the inside of the headphone.

Recover the life of your headphones with this battery, very easy to install, on YouTube you can find many tutorials, although basically you just have to unscrew the ear pad and remove about 4 screws and that's it.

This battery served as an excellent replacement for my Sony gold headset that wouldn't charge or turn on anymore. Now it's working well and lasting longer than it did before!

My ps gold headset is several years old and died in a couple of hrs. I wanted to upgrade and tried another 1000mah battery which was no better so I returned it. I then bought this one which was noticably bigger but fit perfect in the headset. I have used it for serval days and only charged it once with hours of use. This thing is wayyyyyyyy better then the original and other amazon battery I tried. Get this if you want to game throughout the night!
