Simple, easy design and it helped my dry throat . . .
I needed a humidifier right away because I was waking up 12 times a night with a seriously dry throat because of the dry air. I’ve used it for over a month now.Size & Design#1 reason I bought this humidifier is the look and simplicity of it. I don’t understand why other models look/are so awkward. There are very few parts to manage/clean, and it’s a simple, nice looking design. I was looking for easy and practical to maintain. This is larger than I expected (I have a small bedroom). It wouldn’t fit on my nightstand unless I took most of the stuff off so I had to find a piece of furniture to sit it on. (You aren't supposed to sit it on carpet or anything that might block the bottom vents, or sit it on furniture that can be damaged from water). I have bought smaller humidifiers/diffusers before but they never provided enough moisture so I figured I could live with the size. After a few weeks, it really doesn’t seem that big. My measurements of humidifier: 9 ½” height, 7 ¾” width, about 7“ depth, and 24” around. There are essentially two main parts – the water tank which is attached to the power cord and the cover/lid which is attached to the misting tube (see pictures). As you look through the user guide, you will see more parts listed – the mist tube bottom attachment, the mist cap, etc. – but essentially, its two main parts.I was initially annoyed, and maybe still am a little, that the power cord is attached to the water tank – you just need to be careful with that because if you are filling the tank with water, cleaning it or just removing the lid, the cord can easily get wet – you have to read/follow the user guide directions about always unplugging the unit whenever dealing with water. My husband thinks it looks like a mini crockpot so every night for weeks he asked me if the chili was ready yet when we went to bed. But I digress . . .WaterIt holds 2.8 liters of water and has an easy to read maximum fill line inside the tank and an overflow area in case you go over the line. There is a water level sensor that will turn the humidifier off when the water level gets too low (it will beep to notify you unless it’s on sleep mode). At first (before reading the user guide), I tried to fit the tank in my bathroom sink to fill it with water but it was too tall to fit under the faucet. I ended up switching to filtered water so it’s no longer an issue. Belatedly, I read the user guide which states you are not to carry it around full of water … you are to bring water to it. Maybe that’s obvious but I was looking for a shortcut! The user guide says to use cool (not cold) tap water which I was using at first. The tap water started to leave that white film on the furniture/surrounding area from the minerals in it so I switched to filtered water from my fridge which solved that issue. I read somewhere to use distilled water but for me, that isn’t practical. (The user guide says to add salt if using distilled water.) I use a 2-liter pitcher to get water from my fridge to refill the tank as needed so that’s pretty easy. When refilling, the humidifier needs to be unplugged and the cover needs to be fully removed (which usually means water drips on stuff when you remove lid). Read the user guide which has very specific dos and don’ts of filling the tank.Longevitywise, I added 2 liters of water to the humidifier and ran it for 14 hours on high before it turned off due to a low water level. One night I turned it on low at 10 pm and forgot to turn it off and it was still running at 4 pm the next day.The user guide says it should be unplugged and empty of water when not in use. I thought that meant when not using for months, but if you don’t empty it out daily or at least every few days, the water is trapped and starts to smell. I try to unplug it, empty it and leave it out to air dry daily (but sometimes forget). So, realize daily maintenance is necessary.CleaningIt’s easy to clean as it has very few parts (but that plug will follow you to the sink). Directions say to unplug and fill the tank with water and add one teaspoon of vinegar and let sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Then rinse a few times and wipe clean with a soft cloth including the bottom ring at the base of the tank. I clean it like this once a week … seems simple enough for now but when I’m busy I can see myself forgetting/not wanting to do this – but since I don’t want any issues or smelly water, I’ll do my best! There is a mist tube attached to the cover that has a removable rubber bottom piece that is easy to remove and rinse off. There is a cap on the cover/lid that can be taken apart for a “deep cleaning” per the user guide (it just looks like one piece that needs to be removed and cleaned, shown in attached picture). If this had a bunch of parts to it and tiny, hard-to-reach areas to clean like other humidifiers I wouldn’t have purchased it to begin with because that stuff is a pain to deal with.NoiseIt’s pretty quiet. Every once in a while I’m in a light sleep I will hear water “moving” and gurgling which will annoy me and wake me up because it’s a sound I’m not used to but it rarely happens. I don’t see any rhyme or reason as to why it makes sounds sometimes. It’s semi-close to my bed so I can hear the constant sound of the mist coming out but that doesn’t bother me.Ease of UseSmooth, simple buttons that are easy to figure out and use (buttons beep when you push them unless the humidifier is in sleep mode):1 - Power button. Touch to power on; hold for 3 seconds to power off. The power-off button always beeps even in sleep mode.2 - Mist Level button (which is also the power button): Low, medium, and high mist settings. There is an L, M, and H that lights up white as you make your selection. (Yes, you can see the mist coming out of the mist cap, as expected.)3 - Timer button (clock symbol) can be set to 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours - or timer off. 2H, 4H, and 8H light up green as you make your selection and all three light up when you turn the timer off. Timer off means it will run continuously until the low water level sensor turns it off or until you turn it off. When the water level gets low and the unit turns off as a result, it will notify you with 3 beeps. As far as I can tell, if you have it on sleep mode and it turns off due to low water level it will not beep and wake you up.4 - Sleep mode button (moon and two stars symbol) to turn off the orange light in the vertical “water window” and all button/notification sounds. I really do need a nightlight but light bothers me when I’m trying to sleep so it's nice you can turn it off. Note that when you hit the sleep mode button it changes the mist setting to low, even if you have already set it to medium or high. I didn’t know this for several days until I read the user guide. If you want to increase the mist level you can hit the mist level button to your choosing after hitting sleep mode, and the button won’t make any beeping sounds. However, if you decide to turn the unit off during sleep mode, it will beep.EffectivenessI no longer wake up several times a night with a super dry throat fumbling around for water. So it definitely helps with that which was making me nuts. The smaller diffusers I’ve used before never helped with my dry throat/the dry air. I’m still experimenting with the settings though – and paying attention to our humidity measurer (hygrometer) and adjusting accordingly. We have a small bedroom but our humidity measurer (hygrometer) is clear across the room from the humidifier and after 8 hours of running the humidity only goes up a few degrees. I moved the meter closer to the humidifier for several hours and same thing. I need to experiment with it more. I recommend getting a hygrometer if you don’t have one. I bought an AcuRite digital hygrometer and thermometer on Amazon a while back for $10 which has daily high and low readings. There are nights I start to automatically turn the humidifier on but then look at the hygrometer which will say 54% humidity and decide to leave the humidifier off. Other nights, the hygrometer will say 35% so I turn the humidifier on. If I use the humidifier too much and don’t pay attention to the hygrometer and the humidity gets too high, I start getting congested (and I rarely get congested). I may move the unit further away and I will continue to experiment with the settings to better target my needs.Lastly- User guide says you can add essential oils to the tank. I have not done this yet.- BE SURE to read the user guide that comes with humidifier (if that wasn’t clear yet!). I rarely read them and only skimmed over it at first. Then a week later I read the full booklet and actually learned a ton of stuff I should have known prior to using it. It also has troubleshooting solutions (dirty water, no mist exiting, etc.) It’s a tiny booklet with tiny writing, I needed a magnifying glass to read it.- I received instructions to activate an 18-month free warranty extension with the humidifier.- I highly recommend this humidifier based on its simplicity, design and functionality! But realize that there is daily/weekly maintenance of it. And you should use it with a hygrometer.Update on cleaning: I forgot to clean it one week and I wasn't dumping the old water daily so I noticed that pink slimy mold starting to take over the inside. I had to deep clean the inside and all the parts. Pink mold seems to be a common issue with humidifiers but just a note that you have to be vigilant with cleaning it.

Really great humidifier I would gladly recommend!
I got this humidifier to increase the humidity in our room at night. I've been using this for a few weeks now and it has dramatically helped so I don't wake up with a dry, sore throat and nose. The best thing about this is that the night mode truly is dark unlike other models I tried that have the blue power light still on. The unit is easy to clean because of the wide top opening so you can actually get to all the parts. I've only put essential oils in once so far but that seemed to work well for me. I specifically wanted something that could double as an essential oil difusser so I don't have to have two different things to store. I also like that you can drop the oil straight in the tank rather than use an oil tray that is completely ineffective. The buttons are easy to work and the unit is simple to run. The humidifier definitely lasts all night even running on high mist. So far I haven't had it run dry except for one day I let it run all night and day to find out how long it lasted. I also empty the tank each morning and let it dry out with the lid off to hopefully discourage the growth of mold. The unit is quiet as far as humidifiers but it does have a very soft noise when it is running. We personally like a little bit of white noise in the background so it doesn't bother us at all. I think it's pretty impossible to find a humidifier that is completely silent. One thing I have discovered at least with the unit that I have is that I have to fill the tank a little below the max fill line or for some reason the humidifier just blows out air, not the mist. That was something I read on someone else's review and it was a good tip.

Love it so far very happy with purchase
I had a Pure Air Essential humidifier which was such a pain to clean that I was researching easy to clean humidifiers and I did a lot of research. The Pure one was also a bottom filler so I had to flip it over, unscrew it and fill it from the bottom which was also such a pain that sometimes I just avoided it altogether. As other reviewers have noted, this Toppin humidifier is pretty empty inside the tank so will be very easy to clean. No flipping anything over and getting into tight spaces on this one. And a top filler!!My Pure humidifier lasted almost 24 hours before I had to refill it. This one I am filling twice a day which is ok I guess. It has a wider hole in the top so a thicker mist comes out. I always have it running and it runs on the high setting. It is not as quiet as my Pure humidifier but it is quiet nonetheless, it has a low hum. Sometimes this one makes little water drop noises which my pure one did not do. I hope it does not leak as some others have stated.I’m very happy with it so far and highly recommend it, all the functions work well and I love the yellow light inside it that lights up. You can turn that function off by the way.UPDATE: March 3 2021As others have said mine now makes a loud grinding noise when running. Has anyone figured this out? I really like it otherwise and would hate to return it.UPDATE; October 17, 2021I hardly notice the grinding sound anymore. I think it might have stopped or gotten softer. I love this humidifier. It’s the easiest one to clean. I may purchase another one. It’s still going strong.

Amazing product!
I have used many humidifiers before. I just love the "smooth" quality of this one. It is whisper quiet and the mist that comes out is truly cool. I find this soothing and calming, a quality which other humidifiers that I have used before do not have. I put a humidity gauge beside it and within a few minutes, I can see the humidity % rising (the 3 pics were taken about 1 min apart). And the temperature starts dropping as well. It is really easy to clean and the top fill function makes it very convenient. Simple but brilliant design!

This product is 110V only!
I purchased this product because the description of this product on Amazon said that working voltage of the product is 100V-240V. However, when the product came, the sticker on the product said 110V. The voltage in my country is 230V. I have a choice to return the product but the return cost costs as much as the product and it will take 2-3 weeks, over the 7-day return period that I must adhere to. Now, I have to purchase a transformer to step down the voltage so that I can use this product. Inaccurate description on Amazon leads to inconvenience and extra costs for the consumer!

A humidifier that works as promised
A friend suggested this humidifier and I have seen a lot of good reviews so I gave it a shot. It has worked really well and has been keeping my plants in a humidified environment. The best features: top fill (huge selling point), it is quiet, mist settings are really great ( the highest setting has a really good height and coverage), the sleep mode ( I do personally like the faint light) and the capacity and time mode. Would totally recommend. Simpler than the other brands that has all these fancy settings. This one is simple, easy to use and it works well.

長時間使用出来る?
24時間使用出来るというので購入しました。が、タイマーoffのやり方がわかりませんでした。音は全くせず静かだし、ミストもたくさん出るので、それはかなり良かったです。
