After initial disappointment of them not working, I found that it was the end cable that was the issue, we have Cat6 cabling throughout the building, and the distance is probably only twenty metres, but the last piece of the puzzle was the Socket to the HDMi connector, and that was where I got it wrong (poor quality cable), once I realised this, it worked great, very happy.

As a CCTV engineer I usually use a product four times the price of this item. As my supplier was out of stock I decided to give this item a try. A very poor quality, plastic and cheap item. A picture could only be achieved at 720P and even then it was terrible, blurred and had ghosting all over it. The CAT5 length was only 10 meters so there's no reason why this shouldn't have worked at 1080+. I decided to wait until my usual product was in stock which worked perfectly.

Had rj45 socket behind TV and one near where virgin box was going. These worked treat and allowed me to run the hdmi over cat6. Deffo would use again in a pinch

This product simply doesn't work.The HDMI connectors tell the TV something is plugged in but that is as far as it goes. None of my 4 TVs or any of the devices managed to transmit a signal.Save your money and buy a set that has its own power source.

Great quality

HDMI display works for few seconds and then goes dark for few seconds. I have tries 1 meter and 10 meter cat5e cable. Waste of time.

Le problème réside dans le fait que le produit n'est pas alimenté, donc cela dépend de la source et de l'afficheur.Quand la puissance fournie par la source est bonne, que l'afficheur est assez sensible en entrée, que le câblage est bon et pas trop long, cela passe nickel (oui, il faut quand même beaucoup de paramètres).l'EDID est parfaitement transmis et il est donc possible de passer du HDMI sur 20m à moindre cout.Malheureusement, il est difficile de savoir si cela fonctionnera bien à l'avance.
