Worth the money!
I like the 6 day plans, they get right to the point. Also, the section on nutrition is a added bonus. This book is all bite and no bark. Will be getting the hard copy if available.

Solid Stuff
This is a heckuva compendium for working out. Most of it I already knew, but the fact is--over the years--I've forgot a lot of the movements depicted. Personally, I always try to get in 60 minutes per work out, but I can see how this would really inspire folks who only have a half hour or less. Getting in all of the big exercises is definitely sound advice. The 48 "Anytime Exercises" won't surprise anyone as doing them will clearly create a symmetrical and fit body. When looking through the list and its corresponding pictures, the crunch on the inflatable ball was something I've never tried before but may start doing now. Lastly, the last chapter on diet was solid.

It Works!
I've used many weight training books before, but this is the one that got me in shape--fabulous shape, that is.I'm getting compliments all the time, and I am in my 50s! The reason why the method described in this book is effective can be summed up in 2 words: flexibility and simplicity. And these features promote adherence to the program. The provided flow diagram for each routine is priceless. It kept me on track week after week.It has been 6 months since I fit the work-out in my busy schedule, and I now feel much better and more self-confident. My lipid profile has never looked better in my entire hyperlipidemic life. It is now actually normal. I highly recommend this book because it works!

if you only buy 1 fitness book ever - I'd buy this one
That's right - I think if you only had 1 book on fitness for your whole life from beginning to end I would get this one. If you only got two - I would add STRENGTH TRAINING ANATOMY. This book is ingeniously programmed around time & gives you so many well planned & logical options based on how many minutes a week you have to do them. It's seriously that good & my new favorite fitness book of all time.

Great for total beginner, I guess. Meh for anyone else
This book has a lot of useful, neatly-organized information in it. That having been said, most of it is what anyone with any fitness training experience would probably consider common sense. The dietary information in it is nice, making some good blanket recommendations, and the proposed "how much time how many days a week" workouts are very good ones. Again, however, they are mostly very common-sense items, and what's more, they rehash virtually the same information dozens (literally) of times. The book could easily be over 100 pages smaller and equally useful. It seems clear that they padded the page count with a lot of copy/paste in order to make the price seem more worthwhile. Now, I'm not trying to claim that the Amazon list price is excessive. The book is probably worth what I paid for it...but just barely.

great book
This book gives you the benefits of what workouts to do depending on how many days you have available to work with your busy schedule. The author preaches the three days a week workout. monday wednesday and friday. he give full body workouts in there with how many set and reps you need to do depending on whether or not you wanna get ripped big or somewhere in between. Great book, great advice and its easy to read with good picture illustrations.

The Body You Want in the Time You Have
I had very limited exercise experience, and this book gave me exactly what I was looking for: pre-planned workouts based upon the time I had. All of the exercises have pictures and brief explanations on how to do them properly. There are also sections on nutrition and meal planning. There are alot of exercise books out there, so I checked this book out of the library so I wouldn't waste money if it was no good. I found it so useful, I bought my own copy.
