Very heavy
Perfect, nice size for keeping all the valuables safe, its really heavy so cant be moved quickly by burglars, you can also have it secure against a wall, fittings included, comes with a key as well in case of code malfunction which I keep at a family members home, keep spare batteries inside the safe for replacing when needed,

A good safe for the money so far
I just installed my safe and took my time to order some extra bits to make life easier. Get yourself some 10mm long M4 bolts so you can fix the shelf in place (it already has holes drilled for you). I didn't use the fixings provided either. I bought some penny washers and screwed through the bottom into the wood floor and then instead of using the bolts in the wall I bought some 10mm (M10) threaded rod which I cut to 15cm lengths and Fischer FIS VL vinylester mortar as my new build external walls are aerated block which is quite soft. This is designed for aerated brick and has given me a solid fixing into the wall but would not be suitable to hand the safe from the wall without support from underneath. You drill a 12mm hole and make sure you clean all the dust out by repeatedly using a blower and brush/pipe cleaner, then fill the hole 70% full with the FIS VL and insert the rod as you put it in rotate it as if screwing it into the wall. A couple of hours later it is rock solid and secure the safe to the wall with some M10 nuts (I used ones with a flat flange so no washer needed) and a bit of loctite threadlocker so it doesn't work it's way lose with vibration. The safe seems well built and sturdy - no flex in the door like other models I have seen reviewed and comes with a level of certified secure. Only had it a few days so not sure of long term reliability. I do think the bolts for the shelf should be included but only cost a couple of quid. As others have said you have to be square on to see the screen but I can live with that. It really should ship from amazon in a plain box though. Would I buy one again? So far yes, as long as I get many years of service from this one.

Decent, but replace the terrible batteries or risk finding yourself locked out
This is a decent safe, solid and enough to deter an opportunistic thief. One gotcha though - the supplied batteries are junk, mine ran down in months, despite opening the safe no more than once a week, usually less. It's not a issue if you've got the key to hand, but if you've stored it elsewhere (good practice) then you might find yourself with a problem if you need something in a hurry. Make sure to replace them with decent quality, long life AAs as soon as you can. Overall quality is good, but the plastic panel is a bit of a let down. Loses a star for that. But still a decent option.

Could do with a second over ride key in some circumstances - but a good solid safe never the less.
Yale - Motorised Safe Professional - Maximum Security - YSEM/520/EG1 purchased at the time for £161 a significant discount to current price - size was as stated - sadly only one override key - I could have done with a second override key - so I can provide a key to a family member. Have not commented earlier as has only just be put in place. Secured to wall and concrete floor. Plenty of storage space however, also purchased a couple of fire proof security bags to retain papers documents in the safe as should give better fire proof security then if just placed in the safe without. Although stated proposed delivery date and arranged to be in on that date, was initially delivered the day before, however was re-delivered the following day - the day I stated I would be in. I have had no issues in respect of build quality, although others have stated that they have had. Always though a safe would be handy, but usually very expensive - happy that this came up at the time of the Black Friday sales which meant I got a better safe then I would usually be able to afford - I saved around £50 on the normal selling price. Currently £214 which is still good value for this item.

Disappointing low quality panel…
Ordered and delivered with a smashed panel, replacement also delivered with a broken panel and returned. Although the metal case is amazingly strong the plastic panel really lets it down. I paid a bit more and ordered from a different manufacturer and the quality is in a different league to Yale safes.

Decent safe
Decent safe with good capacity. Wish the safe had options for shelf placement rather than only one position though. It has 2 bolts which are central which I'm sure is secure but feels as though it could have another 2 securing the top and bottom of the door. The door doesn't close completely flush which makes it look less sturdy but also feel as though something could slide behind the door fairly easily. I'm unsure why there is a master code and a user code when you can only have one user and I don't know what other functionality the master code has. Instructions are pretty basic but was easily able to turn off the sound on the keypad. The alarm on multiple code failures is so quiet to be absolutely pointless. There are some good features though - a 9v battery backup for battery failure and a physical key option which was important for us in case of a lock out. I avoided the more modern safes because they didn't have this option.
