TaylorMade SLDR S Driver

Vastly improved my shots off the tee. Not only with driving the ball straight but also fading or drawing the ball on dog legged holes. With a quick adjustment of sliding weights I can improve how much I weight put behind the ball creating the extra distance and curve that I need.And with the amount of loft it has I can even use it on short holes. Just a light swing and the flex and loft of this club gets the ball right were I want it and then a little extra if needed. Making up for Something Iron shots can not do in rolling the ball up and onto the gree from just under 200yrds.I have even on ocassion hit this from the fringe of the fairway.The only reason it gets 4 stars is I recently had to replace it because it became fractured - but this is probably more due to how frequently I used it than it is the makeup of the shaft itself.

I bought this product for my brother's 60th birthday. My brother does not carry a handicap and is only an occasional golfer, but can hit a long drive. To understand his game I will share his 3 best shots. 1) Twenty years ago on on fathers day he hit his driver off an elevated tee. No one saw the ball. Finally as he was about to hit another, he noticed it was imbedded on the tee. 2) Again with his driver he took a mighty swing only to barely nick the ball of the clubs heel which then proceed to have the gall strike him in his ankle.3) With a fairway wood toped the ball which came straight up and he caught it. Oh and his normal slice 30-50 yards on a good day.So as you can see I had very little illusions that this club could do anything for him. However, a few days after he received it he went to the range and hit a bucket. He kept it at neutral and said not only was it not slicing but that he was getting more distance that he had ever seen. Next time I play with him I will follow up with my own observations.

I can't believe this club . I bought TaylorMades newest club last year and hated it . Was so bad I was using 3 iron off the tee . I hated to spend the money to buy another club so soon but the price discount on this club was so good I decided to give this model a try . I've been playing decent golf for many decades and never had a club anywhere even closely as great as thisI can make the ball do whatever I want . Straight , draw or fade . After just the first two holes the first time I used it I was so amazed at how comfortable I was with it I started telling my buddies just what I was going to do on each tee shot . I don't know what they wanted to do more . Kill me or get online with this company and order their own . Best golf money I ever spent and the price just made it that much better .

I've been learning to golf over the past year or so and I purchased this club because I wanted something nice enough that I wouldn't feel like I needed to upgrade later. I also had a friend recommend this driver who's been playing recreationally for over 10 years, and I trust his opinion. Overall this driver is very light feeling, but at the same time has a nice heft down at the club. I am able to drive the ball around 200 yards, and my friend can drive around 250 using the same club... neither of us are consistent enough to fiddle with the draw/fade settings, but I imagine it might be useful for someone who plays a lot of golf and has a very consistent swing.

If you're a pro you probably don't need this club. If you are one of several million others it is a breath of fresh air. The loft is amazing even when not hit in the "sweet spot" as logged bu stick on tracking papers. For those of us that are not very consistent in the swing department this club is very forgiving. I have retired my much more expensive driver and now use this one when over 200 yards is the goal.

I'm just now getting a chance to play with this new club. With only 2 rounds under my belt I like the club more and more. I'm driving farther than before and I have not had the chance to tweak the settings to make it optimal to my game but I still have high expectations.

A bit too light a swing weight for me. I went back to my Rocketbalz Stage 2. At least I appreciate my "old reliable" more. Perhaps in winter, I may use the SLDR has the carry distance is a bit longer.

I ordered a 9.5 degree loft on the driver and it arrived with a 10.5 degree loft. With my questionable swing I can't really tell if this has had any effect on my game. Just thought I would let you know.

Aucune mention explicite du fait que le driver proposé ne concernait que les gauchers. Certes une photo, mais l'attention de l'acquéreur n'était vraiment pas attirée.
