Needs Update for Saroo
Works great for games, but if you’re using it with Saroo you need to download an update from the manufacturer, as otherwise it will act like the down button is stuck on the menu.Once updated, it’s fantastic and works great with the games I’ve tried it with. The case that it comes with is also nice to keep it in and not have to worry about losing anything.

works good
Works great with my Sega Saturn. No issues at all, no input latency. I love it. There is one minor annoyance - if you have an action replay 4M plus, it doesnt seem to work on that cartridge, but once you get into the game its fine. Just be aware of that if you play to use action replay with this, otherwise, dont worry about it and enjoy this official feeling controller

Works Like a Charm
While I enjoy my Sega Saturn and other classic consoles, I despise the cords on the original controllers. I was skeptical as to the viability of this controller, but it is rock solid. Here' s my reasoning for having said this:Packaging: Inside the lovely white box is a durable, transparent, hard plastic case which houses the controller and peripherals. I was pleasantly surprised to find this, and truly impressed with the quality thereof. As you can see from the attached images, this is a rather snazzy case. There are two receivers included, one for the Saturn, and a USB version if you play Saturn games via an emulator on PC.Controller: The controller is lightweight, but not cheaply constructed. It's heft is similar to original Sega Genesis 6-button controller. If you own(ed) the AT Genesis Classic Gane Console Deluxe, then this controller is about 33% larger and heavier than the AT Games unit. I've included a photo for comparison. The battery life is superb. I can get in about 2-3 hours a day for a week before I need to charge it. I actually have two of these, so I can have a hot-spare on standby. I've used both controllers at the same time to enjoy two-player games without any issues. You need sync one controller at a time.Gameplay: I haven't had any issues across multiple games and game types. I haven't tried the USB adapter yet, but plan to that out soonOverall: This is the best $35 I've spent in a while. I will be purchasing a pair of the Genesis compatible model. If you have a Sega Saturn or looking to get one soon, by all means buy a pair of these controllers. It will give you the perfect mix of nostalgic game with modern convenience.

Lights go blinky blinky
Wasted 2 hours trying to get this to work on a Mac like it claims to. Instructions are terrible, only mentions how to pair and reset, doesn't even mention how you're meant to switch the controller on (I'm assuming it's the start button). The receiver has 3 states, solid LED means connected, slow blinky LED means searching, and fast blinky LED I have no idea because it doesn't mention it anywhere in the instructions! It took 30 minutes and multiple controller resets to get it to pair to the receiver. My Mac seems to think there is a controller connected but won't show any settings for it, the settings page is blank. There is just 2 lines in the instructions about Mac usage, so that's zero help. Nothing on their website either. The package of the controller box is good, however the controller itself is extremely light and cheap feeling. It's much lighter than the original Saturn controller. I wouldn't have cared if it had worked though.I want this to work as it claims but I'm not wasting my life getting a controller to work so I'll return this and get the 8bitdo Saturn bluetooth controller instead.

SAROO OWNERS TAKE NOTE
I purchased two of these controllers and they feel and work great, BUT by default when using the Saroo, it will stop responding to all input almost immediately. In order to fix it, I had to flash the Saturn dongles with the firmware for the Saturn Pro Controller, reset the controllers and repair them. After that, the controllers started working perfectly with no issues.4/5 because this shouldn't be necessary.

Better than expected.
I waited a while to purchase this as I was slightly concerned by some of the reviews talking about the quality of things like the shoulder buttons. I have some very lightly used OEM Saturn controllers and while I can feel the difference, it's very minimal. The new triggers don't feel bad, and the d-pad and other buttons feel just like the original. So far I've really enjoyed the controller, I think it's well worth the price. Wish I had purchased earlier so I'd know to invest in some more back up wired models. Hoping Retro-Bit is planning to restock!

Nope. Waste of money.
First one I got came with a broken shoulder button. Had to send it back.Poor connection always. Battery will die when put away fully charged.Feels super light and cheap in the hand. Nothing like the original.
