MAGIX Soundpool DVD Collection 21

Could not get the Magix Music Maker to activate on my Windows 7 Professional system so this product was useless.

I have been using The Magix Maker Studios for 8 years now, and have all of their soundpools on disc format. This particular one though, is very disappointing. Half the soundpools are useless to me, and others are repeats from earlier collections. Being a German company, they are more geared towards Techno & Hip Hop, which I am not. I should have went to 'producerloops.com.' They have a wide variety of downloadable soundpools for every specific genre. Live and learn...

I'm more than happy with my purchase. This soundpool set expanded my library of samples/loops to work with. I'm using the Magix Music Maker 2016 Live package and it came with a library that is geared mostly toward techno/electronica music. This Collection 21 has a wide range of types. I've played with a few, but mostly I've been using the Movie Score set and there is a lot to work with in just that one library.I did have an issue with installing these into my software - there isn't any instructions. Doing a brief check on the internets, I found that all you needed to do is copy the files from the DVD to your computer and then point the music software to the folders. Doing that was simple enough - I created a folder next to the one that the soundpool libraries that came with the software was in. That was all you needed to do - there is no software key or registration required to be able to use these soundpools.One thing to keep in mind if you're considering buying this package - the licensing is for just non-commercial work. If you are going to be doing anything that you plan on making money for - you probably need to look into getting something that is licensed for commercial production work.

One dvd packed with soundpools. Only slight downside is that you have to figure out bpm because its not in standard layout of the magix music maker selector with bar length ,bpm an etc

This sound pool has a lot of great samples. Very useful for my music production.
