The molds may be the Saturn originals but the plastic used in them could be thicker. Otherwise, very few complaints. This is the classic (and in my opinion, best looking) Japanese Saturn controller with much-appreciated wireless functionality and a couple extra buttons. Works splendidly on PC with all the buttons you'd hope for from a retro pad, but surprised me with how well it works for the Switch too. It's still plug-and-play and works splendidly for D-pad-favoured games with all the buttons you'd hope for, but it's also got the ability to swap the pad to a left or right analog stick interpret, meaning you're not out of luck for D-pad-forward games that occasionally require a stick input or if you truly want to use a D-pad to play modern 3D games.As a longtime Sega fan, the only way I could be happier would be if it was made of sturdier plastic. It's quite light and the shoulder buttons especially feel a little unsatisfying.

It looks great. I love the style and the colors pop. The case it comes in is a really nice touch.It's a little flimsy feeling. Very light and hollow feeling. A real Saturn controller wasn't exactly heavy, but cord tension adds a little weight to how a controller feels in your hand, and I would have appreciated a little more in this design. Some thicker plastic might have helped too, just so it doesn't feel so frail.I've only had connectivity issues when using it with my Satiator and rebooting the Saturn - it will sometimes stop responding and I'll have to hard reset. This is only a pain point when I'm testing different games rapidly. Long play sessions haven't been an issue.Overall I would suggest it. Good for the price, and honestly there's not many other options out there besides using a Brook Wingman and a different console controller.

Mine would not pair in 2.5GHz mode when using my Sega Saturn. I didn't try the USB dongle as I already have USB PC controllers. Felt great in the hands and was packaged well but I needed a functioning controller not a display piece.

This is one of two versions, the other comes in classic black, and this version feels much higher quality. The plastic feels more durable, the buttons have a tactile snap to them, and the responsiveness of the controller is noticeably better than the previous version. Highly recommend for retro gaming, especially fighting games.

I bought this controller to use with my Sega Saturn with a Saroo cartridge. It did not work out of the box (it would start infinitely scrolling through the Saroo games menu) but after updating the firmware on the reciever to the V2 Pro version, it works flawlessly. No noticable input lag compared to a wired Saturn controller. It feels a little cheap, but so did the original Saturn controllers. It uses Micro USB in the Year of our Lord 2024.Minus two stars for the setup issues and Micro USB instead of USB-C. Otherwise, it's a great product.

I’m without words on the utility of this pad. I put away 4 controllers now and just use this for multiple things. Very convenient. I did a 8 hour play time yesterday and everything work fine. The quality is really the same as original as I own 2 original pads. The shoulder button clicking is different but not in a bad way, just different.
