Great little well pump.
Received the pump very quickly after I ordered it. I plumbed it up to my 70' deep yard well with about 12' of lift. Primed the pump, plugged it in and it worked perfectly. The pump cycles between 20 and 60 psi and pumps continuously when the valve is fully open. I pumped into my pool for 5 straight hours without an issue. The bladder didn't say how much pressure should be on it, but I noticed a sticker on the identical pump that I replaced, called for 26-29 psi on the air bladder. I checked the new pump and the pressure was 26 psi. It has already paid for itself. The old pump lasted about 5 years before the motor froze up.

Works great
We are using this as our main water supply for our off grid home. Shipping was reasonably quick and it was well packaged. A couple of notes for anyone buying this. One.....It did not come with the tank pre-charged. No big deal, I have an air compressor. So that or a bicycle pump handy. Number two....you definitely HAVE to install a check valve on the suction side of the pump. Especially if you are pulling from a non pressurized source. Once I figured those two issues out it works fantastic. A side note...it's pretty dang quiet too. Not whisper quiet but certainly acceptable.

Good little pump for the price
I have had the pump working in my well for 4 weeks now and do not have any problems. I use it to water my yard. I do doubt that it is the advertised 1200 watt rating (1200 watts would be over one horse power) as it is not as strong as the Harbor Freight one horse power pump (9 amp at 110 volts rating = 990 watts) that this one replaces. This pump does the job OK but does not pump as fast. OK little pump for the price but over rated.

Pump housing split after a week of use.
I bought this last year and installed it about a week ago. It has failed already. A crack formed in the pump housing where the threaded bushing was pressed in. I'm going to try to seal the crack with epoxy or something else made for the purpose. This pump is a terrible waste of money.

There are several pumps available in this price range, and this one had fewer negative reviews than the others, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It arrived fairly quickly and was well packaged. It had obviously been tested at the factory since the unit was a bit wet inside its plastic bag. The manual is a bit on the light side, but there is lots of general irrigation pump info on the web, so not a huge issue.I am using the pump to suck water out of my sump pit and drive a drip irrigation system. I installed a foot valve and adapted the output to a garden hose connection. I wish the pump had a some kind of detail on the inlet and output connections that you could put a wrench on - I was pretty nervous tightening the fittings and just hoping nothing internal to the pump would break loose - but I did not have any issues. I have the pump running off a sump pump switch so that it will only turn on when there is water in the pit.My irrigation system currently uses only about one gallon per minute, so this pump can easily keep the water flowing. The default settings keep pressure between around 20 and 42 psi. 20 psi is a little low for my system so I may play with the pressure settings. The unit is a little noisy (I have had no prior experience with irrigation pumps), but it is in my basement so I don't really care, and actually like being able to hear it turn on so I know it's working.Update 7/19/16: Still working fine. Measured power draw - 1000W (8.5A @ 117V). There is of course higher current draw at pump turn on, but my slow meter doesn't capture that very well.Update 9/21/16: Pump is still working great. The tank bladder pressure was set too high as received, so I dropped it down slightly below the turn-on pressure setting of 20psi and there is no longer a gap in water pressure between pump cycles (not really an issue with my irrigation system). I have now pumped about 13,000 gallons out of my sump pit to water my plants, which is about $130 worth of water, so the pump has paid for itself already by reducing my water bill.Update 10/29/16: Pump still working OK, but could no longer generate enough pressure to turn off at the high-pressure switch setting, so I dropped it down 35 psi and now it appears to work fine. I think something on the pump has gotten weaker.Update 04/26/17: Just turned the pump on for the season. I left it filled with water over winter since some have complained about rust. No issues getting it running - it is working fine.Update 06/13/17: The pump has now sucked 95,000 gallons of free water out of my sump pit to water my plants, so has easily paid for itself.Update 06/24/17: My 4 zone drip irrigation system is fully up and running and I have a couple data points for those interested. All zones now have enough flow that the pump never hits the upper pressure limit, but continues to pump until my sump pit is drained. It is putting out 140 gallons/hour at 29psi and 80 gallons/hour at 34 psi. Suction is 2 ft, head height is 8 ft; pump output is adapted to a garden hose which drives my 4-valve manifold. I have now pumped about 100k gallons. Despite my success with this pump, I'm leaving my rating at 4 stars because the seals appear to be wearing and peak pressure is now around 39 psi with no flow. This would indicate a max head height of around 90ft vs spec of 150ft.Update 07/21/17: Ugh, it has hit end of life. It had been slowly losing its ability to generate high pressure, and now there is no pressure/flow. Disassembled the pump and found the impeller no longer spins when the motor spins (although the impeller spins easily by hand), so something in the connection has loosened or broken (I can see a white plastic deformed piece inside the impeller which may have been part of the attachment). Also, the fins on the impeller are very distorted, which could be the reason for slowly losing pressure over time. I also noticed that although the pump outlet is 1", the internal connection between the pump and tank is only 5/16" ID, which is poor design. Over its short lifetime it pumped about 110,000 gallons which is not too bad for a $100 pump. Because replacement parts are impossible to find, I have replaced it with a name brand pump, but am continuing to use the tank from this pump. I'm dropping the rating to 3 stars due to limited life.update 07/29/21: at this point no one likely cares, but my use of the tank has ended as the bladder now leaks, has been replaced. The replacement tank cost about as much as the original pump/tank, but hopefully will last longer. Name brand pump bought to replace this pump in 2017 continues to run just fine.

Very happy with this pump & tank combination
Very happy with this pump & tank combination. Not too loud, came pre-charged, and it was easy to connect and setup. Not a fan of the small hose between pump and tank, but it's still very much a workable solution that keeps up with washing machine, shower, and dishwashing, all at the same time.Just be sure to add some extra teflon wraps for the 1" fittings...they're looser than most I've worked with.

Plastic Pump housing does not last for long.
Product arrived on time and i installed everything. Started it up and it started to build pressure, then stress fractures started developing around the fitting connections. Pump failed. I contacted the seller and they did send a replacement several days later. hooked it up and ran for a week until it failed again at the same spots. Disappointed in the product.

Works well
This pump is used in a cistern. It works well for the intended purpose of washing cars and watering plants. Drafting about 10 feet with a anti regurgitation foot valve
