Great for taking raw eggs to work for smoothies
Works great! I’m able to safely transport fresh eggs from home to work so I can make my smoothies, etc. I like the 2-capacity size so that I don’t have a larger container taking up space in the shared employee fridge.

Perfect for Palm-grasp crayons!
I wanted a good way to store my daughter’s palm-grasp crayons that would protect them from breaking. I decided since they were shaped like eggs, an egg holder should do the trick. And then I came across this wonderful egg holder and it worked perfectly! I just used a nail clipper to cut out the little tabs at the top of it (which was oddly satisfying) and it was a perfect fit. Now we can even take them on the go easily.

Good size for RV
I bought this for use in our RV. It holds the eggs apart and I think it really helps to eliminate or at least reduce breakage of the eggs. It is a good size that easily fits in the drawer of my RV refrigerator. The clasp that keeps it shut is a simple plastic tab that sort of clicks down over the bottom half - not super tight, but it does the trick.

My favorite egg holder for traveling
Whenever we go on vacation we pack a medium sized cooler with essentials to get us through the first night and first breakfast. We always take a dozen eggs, and I had a red egg holder exactly like this one that I bought many years ago. It served us well, but one of the little plastic handles broke on one side. The holder still worked, we just had to be more careful with it. So I was happy to find this identical egg holder (just in a different color). Now I know to be more careful with the handles when opening/closing.

Best egg cases ever!
Simply the best egg cases available! They are very affordable… I love these for transporting raw eggs in coolers for camping, but they also see use in the home kitchen storing hard boiled eggs. They are thick, sturdy, and with a simple latch that is surprisingly effective. Any mishaps and they clean easily by hand or in the top rack of the dishwasher.

Good but not stackable, not sealed (waterproof)
I bought 3 of the 1 dozen egg holders for a camping trip. Generally speaking, and specially for the price (three bucks), thee are good. There two things that surprised me given is a camping oriented gear: 1. These are not stackable. Almost all forms of storage are stackable. If they are the same size you can stack them one of top of each other. If not of the same size, usually you nest them one into the bigger one. 2. Again, this is a camping oriented gear. Eggs needs refrigeration, therefore ice in cooler will melt. These should be sealed or waterproof so water don't get inside. Specially, some eggs will break. You don't want water mixing with the egg before you cook it, or the egg smell contaminating the rest of the food. People who designed clearly don't use them and more importantly, are not, neither consult camping people.
