it is just plastic, but works great. You do have to play with the wiring to make sure which wire goes to which light. There are no instructions

Bought to replace the bulb version of this exact model that broke after a season. While this version is plastic (instead of metal) I like the LED way better off the bat. If you have a vintage Yamaha like me, it's BLACK to BLACK, YELLOW to BLUE, and YELLOW to RED.

Meh. Plastic but it works.
There is no metal in this thing; it's all cheesy plastic. I spray painted it flat black so it didn't look so plasticky. Other than that, it does have LED lights and it works well.

Perfect brake light.
Really bright light. Wired it so the under light also lights on breaking so that it really grabs attention. Easy to install.
