Used this for first time this weekend on heat pump pool heater. There had been at least two years of build up, greenish dark gunk. I first used a small vacuum with medium nylon brush attachment to remove this season's cotton wood (probably last season's too). Directions were to create a 7:1 ratio water:product. I was more like 3:1. I really had low expectations. I sprayed on with battery sprayer, two coats. That was much easier than hand pump would have been. Might have sprayed a few pints total. Let it sit for a full 10 mins. Garden hose sprayed it off. Top to bottom rise until all suds were gone. I could not believe how clean the fins were. All of the gunk was gone. Only spots it missed were where the outer cage had blocked the spray or rinse. 99%. They looked lime new.

Quality product that worked better then I expected it to and smelled really nice! I put it in a spray bottle and sprayed the coils, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then rinsed off. There were foamy dishwater like bubbles that came off and the coils were a bright shiny silver color again. It had a minty smell that was surprisingly pleasant. Was very easy to use and cleaned up really good.

I used this to clean the evaporator coil in an air handler located in the attic of my rental house. The evap coil was heavily gunked up and covered with pieces of fiberglass, which probably went up the return ducts during construction. I used a battery powered (and well cleaned) weed sprayer from Harbor Freight to apply the cleaner and then to rinse. The sprayer worked well with just enough pressure to make a good strong spray. It made a mess but not the cleaner's fault, it was doing its job. There was just so much dirt that came out that the condensate drains plugged and I had to deal with the accumulation of cleaner and rinse water running into the air handler. Wet/dry vac took care of that. Coil came away bright and shiny, hard to believe it had been in service for 15 years. So good product it is just a pain in the you know what job in a hot attic. Could never have gotten that evap coil clean any other way while it was in place. Glad to get it done, don't want to do that job again! Good stuff.

It isn’t as good as other cleaners I’ve used for AC coils. It does a great job as a deck cleaner.

I previously used a spray foam, and it was ok but did not clean that well. After using this product, the fins were back to their original color with no dirt remaining.
