I purchased this product to integrate two dresser lamps that light my master bedroom as I walk in. Those lamps are not integrated or near a plug that can allow us to be able to use a light switch on the wall. The product does not offer any significant aid in integrating electronics and operating them from a distance as I had hoped; I have to literally go stand right in front of the dresser in front of it within 3 feet, bend low and clap my hands very loudly in order to get it to respond. We've tried moving and re-positioning things in an effort to see if it was just an angle or sensitivity, but unless you're standing right on top of this object you're really not able to use it as a way to prevent the need to go over to the lamp and turn it off and on manually. I wish it was more sensitive and that it could've prevented us from having to go use the light switches anyway but that is not my experience. I found it very expensive based on his performance and unfortunately threw away the package before I realized the limitations it had. I am stuck with it but I would not recommend purchasing it in the future. I don't often review things because typically items deliver or I can return them, but this item unfortunately I made assumptions about and do not recommend it.

Works amazing

It works fine, although it’s VERY sensitive even on the normal setting.When I coughed, it turned on and off, when our dog barked it turned on and off, etc.

My Roomba makes it go on which is why I gave it 4 stars. It also goes on for some other loud noises. Other than that it works very well.

My husband would fall asleep with the light on and quit using one other floor lamp that was too hard to reach. With this device, he can easily manage both lamps without having to get up. 2 claps for one light, 3 for the other.

The item works fairly well. But it also turns on to many other sounds. Opening and closing windows. Dog barking. Talking. Coughing. You never know when it's going to turn on or off. It does work but there is some inconveniences to it. Too many things are able to turn it on and off.

my mother lays in bed and just claps to turn her lights on and off. She gets a giggle about it everytime. Works great and her "clap" is a little weaker and it still works.

Exactly what we needed in the bedroom. Works like a charm

I gave this as a gift and the idea was a great one but it seems that you have to be pretty close to clap on/off which can ba annoying in some cases. But it was well received by the recipient
