This Sodium Nitrate Worked Absolutely FINE
I didn't take any pictures of my use of this product because I used it a little differently than most people would. I have a lot of large lava rocks that line the slopes of my raised yard. Over time leaves, twigs, and other debris fall between the rocks and look ugly, but it's next to impossible to remove the buildup. So what I did was dissolved the Sodium Nitrate in water in a decently strong concentration and used it with my weed sprayer. Then I sprayed the buildup between the rocks so it was saturated and let it dry for a couple of days. Then I set it on fire and watched it smolder as it burned the debris to ash, it created a LOT of smoke, which should be done at night because of the smoke, I was ready for the fire dept to show up, but luckily that didn't happen. The reason I used SODIUM nitrate instead of Potassium nitrate is I didn't want the surrounding plants or weeds to grow because of the nitrogen (which is in both) but plants don't like sodium but they grow real well with potassium. I live in the county, but if you decide to use this product in a similar fashion, it would be best to contact your local authorities and make sure it is legal.

As described and perfect condtion
It was as described and in perfect condition. I used it to kill the roots and the trunk of an Eucalyptus Tree. I trimmed back the new growth from the tree that had been cut down. Poured the chemical over the area. Wet down the area. Added some rotting compost. Wet down the area again. Cover the area with Black Plastic. Cover the plastic with 6 inches of wood chips. It takes time but over dosing the cut down tree with a strong fertilizer and compost and covering it up was my only choice to kill it so it would not come back. They had left parts of the truck and roots that were already growing a new tree. This did the trick.

Powder, not Pellets
I got this stuff as an alternative to potassium nitrate, for getting rid of stumps. The ad says it comes in pellet form, which would be easy to pour into holes in stumps. It's actually a powder with lots of clumps in it.
