I don’t write very many reviews, but when a product exceeds expectations, it’s warranted. These harnesses are beautiful. Well crafted. Fit great. Easy on/off. It’s tough to find a harness small enough to fit our little ones. These are the extra small and they fit (mostly) but they’ll grow into them fully in a few weeks. The leashes are a great bonus! The leashes are worth the cost by themselves! Excellent product at a great price!

I this style step-in harness!Prior to using Malitor harnesses, I purchasedthe brand Voyager, and used that brand for years but the velcro wouldn't last long so I started looking for alternatives.I have purchased a handful of harnesses, rope leashs and hated every one; I couldn't find a quality harness & rope leash. Most of the rope leashes were extremely thin BUT these Matilor's harnesses and leashesare everything you would want!The harness itself is well made — great craftsmanship! The material is thick and durable, the velcro is insanely strong.The snap buckle has a red button for locking into place. One day I couldn't figure out how come I couldn't open the snap then I realized it has a lock tab (push left/right to lock/unlock). I don't use it but it's a nice added feature.Matilor offers a great variety of prints and color choices along with sizes to fit almost every size dog.The leash rope is strong and durable. I will NEVER use any other style leash again. Compared to other leash ropes I've owned, the ropes thickness is just pawwfect! Not too thin or thick. I love the soft ergonomichandles with hooks. I have bad neuropathy in my hands, so the rope and handle are very comfortable for someone like myself.CLEANING: I'll spray th harness & rope with Dawn and toss in the washing machine every month, and they wash beautifully. I'll keep the velcro closed while washing to so lint builds up on the velcro.• Easy to put on and take off in seconds(I leave the leash attached to the harness)My 86 year old grandparents watched my fur-babies and the harness was very easy for them to put on and take off; my neighbors 7 year old babysat my girls while I was away, and he was also able to put these on and take off by himself with no issues!True to size! I have a 15lb Maltipoo & Havapoo and ordered a Med. Depending on the length of your dog's hair - you have to take that into consideration when sizing. Also, your dog's weight and their build are a factor when sizing. I'll read poor reviews about the harness not being true to size and then see photos of a petite, overweight or stocky built size dog or one with thick long hair/coat and any of those has a factor when it comes to sizing. Just like people, we can be short/avg/tall but our weight and builds are all different.I'm sure what I'm trying to say isn't being translated properly but if you get it, then great! You and I could have medium size dogs but their weight and build can be very different making sizing different! Some reviews I just shake my head as they should be common sense.In the winter, I'll let my girls hair grow out and the harnesses are a little more snug vs when they have a short summer cut. Hair length in my option does have a factor when sizing.Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied with the product and purchase!Matilor Customer Service is exceptional! This harness is soft and pretty.... fits fairly well, a bit too large but able to tighten enough so that it does not slip around., Had to reorder twice due to the size chart... XXL equals a 30# dog... these are made specifically for puppies. I tried size medium for my 24# dog and it was TOO small.. then tried large... too small... I now have XL for a small 24#$ dog, so keep in mind these are made in China for puppies and sometimes in a far away land, the creators are not as familiar with US sizing. All in all, it is great for my needs and my dog is fine with the size! Comes with a very nice leash which makes it worth the price! Recommend.

Great, inexpensive harness and leash set for growing puppy. The harness is not the greatest quality fabric and the Velcro is very thin and coarse but for the price, it’s perfect. I bought this set with the expectation that our dog will outgrow it. The harness sizing is accurate and sewn well. The leash is the best part of the set and to be honest it’s probably worth the cost of the set itself and feels like it will last us a while. The grip on the handle is very comfortable and the hardware seems durable.

Edited April 28, 2025After using this harness on my pup for a week, I can say that it’s not very durable especially if you have a puppy that may chew. My little guy is able to get his mouth under the front of the harness while he’s wearing it and gnaw on it. Now it’s falling apart. I’m so disappointed because it really was the perfect harness.Cute harness and leash set! Small fits perfectly on my 9 lb maltipoo puppy. Easy to get on and off.

This harness is so comfortable for my puppy he can’t even tell he’s wearing it. Takes seconds to put it on. We decided a mesh harness would be more comfortable for him and it sure is. Definitely recommend it. I would definitely buy another one if needed. Make sure you measure your dog properly and follow the size chart. My dog is 11lbs and I ordered a size Medium. It’s got a little wiggle room for him if he grows any bigger but the Velcro attaches perfectly and he’s not able to wiggle out of it.
