So fresh, soft, and full of raisins and currants! Excellent with my cuppa Earl Grey in the evening. Delicious! I am ordering some more!! Highly recommend!

Until Covid these pastries were available at several stores locally but was only able to find them when visiting UK. Now can order them through Amazon makes life so much easier. They have a decent shelf life and certainly taste great.

I'd seen Eccles Cakes on the Great British Bake Off, and have been on a culinary quest to try the goodies mentioned on my favorite British TV shows (Call the Midwife is a tour of a candy store and bakery). I nuked one of these Eccles Cakes for about 20 seconds and dove in... the raisins and currants are in the middle- like a filling. The cake part is buttery and flakey. Very tasty. I'd recommend them, and will likely reorder when the 4 pack I got is gone.

I grew up in Lancashire and the flavors are spot on. Perfect with a mug of tea!

The cakes were quite flaky. Lived the fruit filling. Had read about them being eaten in stories I was reading. Loved the actual chance to add a taste of something real to my reading experience.

I had never heard of these, but they are so delicious. Its not as sweet as I was expecting, and it's a little dry, but for some reason both of those things make it better. The crust is just a normal short crust, not like a sweet bakery crust which I really liked. It all just works perfectly together.
