Works great for my 84-87 fender jazz bass special

Works great. Just one thing. I used this on a left handed guitar. Found the string holes are sized for right handed. I had to drill out the G & D holes to accomodate the E & A strings. It's nice that the holes are sized but not necessary. I've not seen any left Handed bridges. I'm happy with it

This bridge works great for replacement of standard Squier bass bridge. Although, the screws are too small. I had to use the existing screws. The screws that were in the previous bridge were 3mm in diameter. The ones that came with this one are 2mm or 2.5mm in diameter. You could pull them out of the hole by hand.

Putting this out there, it will not work for left-handed basses. The holes for the strings are different gauges and are oriented for right-handed bass guitars. Because the holes are so small, if you have strings I have any kind of a silk wrap or coating it will scratch it off. I made that mistake with a set of nylon tape wound strings. It completely destroyed the string when I tried to pull it through, luckily they were on their way out anyway but if it was a new set I would have been pretty upset. If you have a string that doesn't have any silk wrap or coating, this bridge works fine but nothing to write home about. I think that there are better bridges for the price and that if you are willing to spend a few more dollars I would probably pass on this one.

This is my second bridge, it’s hard to beat for the price. The first one came with scuffs and scratches, but since I’m going for a bit of aged look on the bass I’m building, a few scuffs would be fine. To my surprise the finish on this one is perfect, nicely polished and rivals much higher priced bridges. I’m very pleased with the purchase and looking forward to the build.

I needed a bridge to liven up an old bass and this did just the trick. Lined up and installed perfectly.

Holes line up perfectly. Quick easy swap for orig bridge. Intonation is pretty good right out of 'box.' Should definitely fine tune the intonation and action. The string holes are slightly hidden, making changing a little slower. Seems like a great value.

Shockingly good quality. The screws are legitimately garbage, so I had to use the existing screws from the previous bridge, the bridge itself is really well made. Time will tell if this was a good idea!

i can't put 5 star on it because i have a scratch on it and the alllen hole are ruff but its surprising good quality , heavy, a big upgrade

Upgrade from stock. Recommend. Has more mass than stock plate

I will return this one for something better
