Awesome
Best I've ever had a front cover aligned on my engines and I'm very good at doing it without a tool. They work great to install seals as well. Awesome stuff and for $25 buying to use once is totally worth it for the average customer.

Don't replaced your front or rear crankshaft seals without using this tool, a must have
High quality tools. Well packaged. Fast shipping. The kit included front and rear seal alignment tools, I only needed to use the rear main oil seal / retainer alignment tool, which worked very well. Thank you

Works like a dream!
I only used the one to align the rear main seal on a 5.3 GM motor. I replaced the seal the first time thinking it would center itself, but it didn't. it leaked worse than before. Second time, I used this to align the plate to crank. then I used the jig it self to press the seal into place.. I tell you, it worked like a dream. no leaks no nothing. I would recommend installing your rear plate loose first, then install the lower 2 pan bolts and tighten them to pull the plate down to the oil pan in small increments. insert the jig till it fits loosely and evenly all the way around. it should rotate freely when the plate is aligned properly. Tighten the rear cover bolts to 18 ft/lbs in sequence and lastly the lower 2 bolts from the oil pan to 106 in/lbs. Tighten the bottom 2 last, because if you tighten the bottom ones first your seal is going to leak like crazy. lastly apply a little grease to your seal and use the alignment jig to push in the seal. I am happy to add these to my collection of tools..

Used it to install the rear seal and worked very well. Don't pop out the plastic insert. It's used to align the seal. Put it (the seal) over the end of the crank and put your fingers at 10, 2, 4 and 8 o'clock and push the seal in. Use the tool to tap the seal in until it bottoms out. (service manual indicates the seal should be tapped in until it bottoms out).
