DisplayPort to VGA Adapter

Item was exactly as anticipated. Works fine.

Works well and quality seems great. I have used another Benfai adapter before, similar product but different connector. It was great as well. Benfai seems like a solid company for these types of products. Not a big electronics guy, so I am not sure if Benfai is a well known brand or not, but I am a fan and will search for Benfai if I ever need more adapters in the future. Actually, as I am writing this, I am going to see what else they make.

Update - The seller reached out immediately and fully refunded the purchase price. While I had issues with this product, I can validate that this seller is honorable and completely stands behind their products. I believe is this so much I will be buying a cable from them soon. I fully recommend their products and would not hesitate to order this or another item from them. Defects happen and I think I was just the unlucky one. Excellent seller though!!! ------- I originally was very satisfied with this purchase. It was a good price for the adapter, fast shipping, and seemed like quality out of the box. I have a two-monitor setup but only one VGA port on my laptop docking station, so this was perfect to plug my second monitor into the displayport on the docking station. Worked great for a week and then died a quick death. I logged onto my computer this morning and the one monitor that used the adapter wasn't working. Both monitors work fine plugged into the vga port, and another item I have works fine plugged into the displayport, so the only conclusion is that the adapter stopped working. End result is a one-star rating because I expect the adapter to work years, not days. I have contacted the seller and will update the ratings based on my experience with them and hopefully a replacement adapter.

It was very easy to hook up between new PC and old monitor - plug and play - it worked immediately! So giving it 5 stars as it does what it's supposed to. No fault of this adapter I'm sure, but some things, especially pdf docs are a bit blurry. Probably time for us to think about updating this old VGA monitor.

Bought this to use with my new PC. For some reason, my graphics card only has 1 HDMI port...and 3 display ports. It really doesn't make any sense to me, but whatever, we must move on in these trying times, we have bigger problems to worry about such as this corona virus malarkey, so I purchase one "DisplayPort to VGA, Benfei DisplayPort to VGA Adapter Male to Female Gold-Plated Cord Compatible for Lenovo Dell HP and other Brand," connected it with ease and works brilliantly. I couldn't be without my second monitor, I'd honestly rather eat salad (because, I really hate salad it makes me wanna gip).
