Don’t forget to completely remove the door handle AND window needs rolled up
The media could not be loaded. This piece fit 2014 Ford Escape (almost too snug but after about 45 min of tugging and pulling and wishing we had skinny hands to fit in a small space)Doesn’t come with instructions even though it should. I had to rely on YouTube videos for guidance. There were some points that should be clarified.-Window should be rolled up-You’re gonna need a T-25 for the actual inside lock piece and a T-20 for the door handle-Patience is your friend.

Easy install on 2013 escape
Fast shipping, easy diy installation and a perfect fit for passenger rear 2013 escape

Not 100% compatible with Ford Fusion
Purchased all the 4 latches to solve the factory recall issue where a plastic piece inside the latch breaks and the door opens and wont close again.Installed all today and the doors now do not work as before. The red lights which indicates that the door is locked are always on, with the exception of the drivers door. The three doors are always locked and can not be opened from the outside, only from the inside.After pressing the lock buttons in the door, all the 4 doors can be opened from the inside, so it means that I can not use the car with my kids inside because they can open the door at any time.Do not know if this compatibility issue can be solved, if for example, the computer of the car detects that the latches have been replaced and something needs to be reconfigured or a code has to be cleared, or if I will have to buy again 4 new latches and replace again everything.I purchased these parts in February and were exported to another country. Now I can not send the parts back neither receive a refund.Pretty bad news!!!Will update my feedback in case I find a solution.
