My rating and comment refer to the book itself, not to the translation or the contents. This is a well made volume. The pages are flexible but not flimsy. The typeface is simple and easy to read, if a bit small. The dimensions are very comfortable; it's light, easy to hold in one hand. The cover, which is advertised as "turtleback," is a kind of vinyl; it's very flexible, not at all cheap looking, and has a smooth feel in hand. There is a ribbon sewed into the binding to use as a place-holder. The best feature of this Bible, though, is the binding; it's both sturdy and flexible. It's an all-around great volume The translation is an updated version of one considered to be a standard French translation. Nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about. There's a nice concordance, a small glossary, and a map in the back. For my purposes (a Christian who is learning French), I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

Bought this item as agift for my mom. Translations are perfect. my mom had this bible along time ago but wasnt sure if this was the one. Its a gread buy and easy to carry around in her purse. She takes it everywhere with her and to church. I would recommend this bible over the bigger bulky hard cover ones.

Christian reading materials are too precious to me. I like buying hardcover books and I also pay close attention to the content layout. So far the author was able to meet my expectations.

Ich war am Anfang , ein bisschen skeptisch, wegen der Rezension eines Kunde. Er meinte die Version, wäre die neue Verfassung des Louis Segond "revised Version". Ich habe trotzdem gekauft und verglichen mit meiner alter Bibel. Es gibt kein Unterschied. Ich habe mit meiner Bibel App Louis Segond verglichen. Kein Unterschied, was mir neues eingefallen ist, sind die Referenzen zu anderer Versen. Und wie die wichtigen Titeln,die erwähnt sind. Das finde ich toll. Der Versand war top und schnell, trotz der DHL Packet Station. Ich bin eine französische Muttersprachlerin, und für diesen Preis, kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Buona Bibbia in lingua francese, completa, non molto grande entra in borsa. Una puntualizzazione per chi volesse comprarla, non é cattolica ma diciamo protestante. Come si dovrebbe sapere esiste il Cristianesimo ... Con le varie fazioni ( lo spiego semplicissimo ) cattolico e protestante ecc ... Quindi in questa Bibbia mancano alcune cose che la Bibbia cattolica possiede! Arrivata dalla Francia la spedizione é stata puntualissima!
