Great way to cut out security monitoring.
I never particularly cared for security monitoring services. Generally speaking they only called when I accidentally set off the alarm. Police do not respond in a timely fashion to a monitored alarm call because there are so many falses. Police want to hear from a real person at the residence to respond quickly. (Also, I dislike paying the annual subscription fee.) Still, I want my family and myself to be notified if the security system alarm has gone off so that we can be appropriately cautious when we return home. The Hub6 Safe does that very well.The Hub6 Safe essentially emulates a keypad tied into the system. So remotely, the security system can be armed and disarmed. In addition, trouble alerts and zone open or closed conditions are shown.It was easy to setup.The only note of caution I have is the power draw for the device when connected to your system. I could not find the information anywhere and contacted Hub6 support. Their comment: "At peak 800 milliamps(mA), that is referring to boot up. For day to day use, it is roughly 300 milliamps(mA)." On my DSC PC1864 system, it specifies 700mA load capability so the Hub6 uses a lot of that. Consequently, I added a DSC PC5204 power supply module which can handle 1000mA loads. I want to ensure that my system is long term reliable even though it worked without the DSC PC5204 added. I suggest that future version of the Hub6 Safe should have their own power supply and less loading of the security system.Overall, very pleased with it..

Do not buy the manufacturer is out of business and now the unit is useless!
Starting recently the app will not let you login and the unit itself status light is red which means no connection. There are lots of very mad remarks on their Facebook page. They went out of business and never informed their customers.

Hub6 Safe is the best!
This product is very easy to install. It took me less than 30 minutes. It works really well. It sends you alerts when your system is armed, when the alarm is triggered, and which zone is triggered. One thing I really like about this system is that it has built-in cellular backup that keeps your system working even if your Wi-Fi is down. This feature is provided free of charge. The app is very easy to use and it can arm and disarm your system and it also provides the current status of each sensor. The product is very well made. I love this product!

Great product if app is working
Been using the product for over a year now. A few days ago the app suddenly stopped working and unable to login and view my system. Called support but got busy tone constantly. Emailed support but never responded. I think the company is out of business yet is still selling product on Amazon.

Stop working after one year. Shown a red light, not responding to the app anymore. Support phone number does not work.

Works well and integrates into Google Home
16 minutes and 4 wires and this was up and running and integrated into our DSC1616 system. Integrated into Google home without issue.

Wonderful device
Works so well I bought two for two different buildings. Easy to set up and Co. very helpful when I had a Vista parameter set up incorrectly. A huge upgrade to the system- really like that it shows on your phone the system status, sends notifications of events up to three ways (your selections), alarms are a separate, loud alert (on iphone), the phone connection is through their simm so no user phone account needed, and it allows one to cut the ties of a monitoring system if that is a goal. Adds a whole new dimension of remote capabilities to an older system and very effective communication since it uses both the internet and cell phone pathways, simultaneously. Highly recommended.

Disappointed
I was looking forward to using this product. I connected it to a Honeywell vista 20p panel and the setup was very easy. I added all of my zones on the app and when using the app it will not allow me to arm or disarm my alarm or even being notified when a window or door is opened. The only thing that it does notify me is when the alarm is armed or disarmed from the alarm panel itself. I sent two emails to HUB6 Support at [email protected], and received automated messages back that they received my emails, but NO response back to me to help resolve the issue. So end result is not happy with the product and not happy with the support. Would give no stars if I could.

Customer service need improved, products need make it more reliable
The function of hub6 is very good, but it seem not reliable with disappointed customer service.I bought the hub at November 2020 , then it started to fail at late Faburary 2020. It was keep sending me messages about on line / off line non-stop. Eventhough my network and WiFi is perfectly fine and strong.I felt very disappointed on their customer service.After I started the claim for warranty at late Faburary , then I have not got any follow up reply until I ask again two weeks later.End up, I bought another hub6 for the downtime, and one of my friend was willing to get my replacement fortunately.It seems every thing settled at that point.Later ,I am planning to buy one more hub6 for my rental properties. After I placed the order, their customer service left me a voice message and email about why and how many hub6 you have? Did you only pay one ,and want to scam for getting more?Are thery seriously? There may be some misunderstand. Why they don't spent time to check on their end & follow up, but of Instead of judgement?I cancel the order disappointedly and done with them.

like the product and the app interface
the app on iphone crashes when adding a zone. but can do on an Android phone. If the customer service is better, I will give a 5 start. as of the product, I'm very satisfied!
