Not a RUKO — it’s a Muela 5161
First of all - I have no idea of what a Ruko Knife is .A bit confusing when ordering because the picture shows a Muela # 5161 .That’s the knife I received.Great - Awesome Knife !!!But crappy sheath !It was terrible ! Like it wanted to fall out — and kept knocking back and fourth .So I went ahead and purchased a Buck 819 sheath ( brown ).So much better !!! But I had to use the black belt to latch the handle because the brown one was too small to reach around handle and snap . ( yes - I removed the black belt from the Muela sheath ).Now it is nice and snug and looks better in the brown sheath anyway . ( check out photos of how thick the sheath is ) .Hope this helps !!!

Not field-tested, but has a quality feel
I was hesitant to get this brand as some of their lesser-priced models got some negative reviews. But this one 'seems' to be well made. Even the 'hold down strap' across the handle makes it feel like 'quality'. It has a surprising 'heft' for it's slightly (and I do mean 'slightly') diminutive size (it's just not a bowie knife, but also, it's a 'hair' less in 'height' than other's in the price range). But that may be a positive to some, as it would provide easier penetration. Since the sheath is a kydex-type hard plastic, I wish they had made it with a belt clip instead of a belt loop. But all-in-all, I'm not disappointed at the overall usefulness and well-balanced feel. Oh, and as for the rattle inside the sheath, a narrow piece of the 'soft portion' of a paste-on velcro strip inserted down and inside the sheath will take care of that problem, without doing any damage.

great knife
i bought this from an army navy store for 31 bucks and it was sharp out of the box while very nice looking i have had it for 3 1\2 years now and it has had its share of work and abuse worked great chopped wood with it on i trip i take stays sharp good the only problem was the sheath broke but it was easy fixed. it looks and feels great and perfect size i would recommend this to any one

Great all-round outdoor utility
This knife has a long clip-point wide-tang blade with deep serrations along the top and what appears to be a full tang-thru handle. It is quite sharp and ready to go right out of the box. The heaviness of the blade lends itself to minor hacking or chopping chores one may encounter, while the sharp clip-point can be used for more delicate cuts. I especially like the sharp serrations on top of the tang for cutting rope, twine and webbing. The knife rattles in the molded nylon sheath, so I wouldn't recommend it for any scenarios where stealth would be a factor, but other than that it is one very tough knife that will come in handy over a wide range of outdoor, landscaping or habitat development activities.

Nice.
Solid. Good quality control. Handle is a little bit smaller than needed.

Great blade, not the sheath
Great blade. Would have preferred longer blade. Knife rattles all the time while sheathed due to hard plastic and lose knife fit inside the sheath. This is a major turn of for me. I expect they come up with a new sheath and a sheath replacement alternative for those of us who opted to keep the knife.

This is a great knife. Heavy duty
This is a great knife. Heavy duty, durable and it even came razor sharp.I would have given it 5 stars but the plastic sheath is garbage.
