It's for a small child my 1-year-old's feet were already sticking over the edge

I just received my $300 Cybex Aton 2 baby car seat and it has 2 huge warning labels right on the front! This is not in any of the pictures. And the fabric is weird, it catches on my skin when I touched it and up close, right out of the box and bag, it already looks like it’s collecting particles. I picked this car seat specifically for the crash test ratings, but this is definitely not the quality that I was expecting! I am a first time grandma and I am not wanting all my pictures to be full of bright warning labels and am needing durable material that feels nice. Wicked frustrated that the photos on Amazon do not correctly represent what is being sent out to the consumer. Seeing this makes me want to go check out the 2nd seat. Will update this review for functionality if I choose to keep this seat. Just very disappointed and wanted to return it the moment I pulled it out of the package.Update: I went out and bought the Chicco KeyFit 30 for $229 from Target to see if it would be better - great crash test scores. The material is soft and looks easily cleaned, the warning labels are a muted yellow, and it has a cozy newborn insert.

I’m waiting for the arrival of my new born, this checks everything on my list. I set it up in my vehicle and it super sturdy. The reviews on this car seat did not disappoint. Easy install!

Looks nice. Form and function suck! Firstly the strap to tighten/loosen the shoulder straps was difficult at first then fully stopped working. This happened after about 30 days. Second the crotch strap is way too short, literally putting the buckler between kiddo’s legs. My daughter had bright red marks after a short time in here as the buckle didn’t go up far enough. Would fit a premise’s legs fine probably.I thought these were a one time issue maybe related to my seat. We tried again on a cybex convertible when my daughter got older. Crotch strap again was really low to the base and cut into the legs. We literally could NOT get the straps to loosen again

Bought this because of its low profile design. My daughter is now 15 months old and has pretty much outgrown it. It has lasted well and I loved that it had a base to click into. Most bases will not fit in a MINI. It's also a comfty car seat that has lasted well. Would 10/10 recommend for anyone with a compact or 2 door car. Also, Can see that it fit along side my older daughters car seat.

Comfy and nice safety features. However the sun shade is too short she doesn’t stay forward firmly; it’s very loose. Hardware for the umbrella broke; cybex replaced it. The strap to tighten them in is very tense and hard to do. The sensor says “child alone in car” even after we’re inside with our child which can be very annoying.

Exactly what we were looking for. Easy to install, great safety ratings, stylish and comfortable for our baby. Only thing I've not over the top about is the sun shade. Its kind of dinky.
