Bought this set for my two grandsons ages 5 and 3 to play with at my house. From the minute they arrived and opened it, they were busy on "projects." The tools are extremely life-like (there's a 'box cutter' in the set that caused more than a few heart attacks when one or another of us saw the kids playing with it LOL) and very sturdy. The drill was a huge hit once we put the batteries in. It has an attachment that lets you switch out drill bits and the boys played with it nonstop. The tool belt and goggles are a nice touch that both boys loved and fought over. The toolbox was really sturdy and well constructed. I would highly recommend this for young boys and girls from 2 to 6. My grands played with this for five straight days and never tired of it. It was great watching them use their imagination to work on projects around the house and yard. Great purchase at a great price.

My son adores this. I bought it because when my husband does any thing around the house. Fixing things my son wants to help! He loves the orange safety vest and the tool box. These are cheaply made but look like tools. My son is 3 and around the size of a 4 year old and the vest barely fits.

This tool set is not designed for real-life use; instead, it should serve as a great learning tool for my grandson. He is 6 years old now, but as he grows older, he will have learned what the real tools and accessories are and how to use them. The components are made of durable plastic and should last. One word of caution: The small screwdriver supplied for opening the battery case is actually too small; thus, the Phillips head can easily become stripped -- be careful.

lol I bought this to try and keep old men with dementia preoccupied. It worked for a while! He definitely tried using the tools on other things tho!

The box says 6+ but the safety jacket doesn’t fit my 5 year old. The one piece that goes on the drill didn’t really work but overall my boy likes the tools and the tool box. I got it on sale but if I had to pay full price I wouldn’t think it’s worth $45.
