Would not connect to network, could not get support
I have an MA2 modem that works well on my AT&T network so I figured I'd give this camera a try.Shipping was prompt and the package arrived without issue.Activating the camera via my account was very easy, scan the barcode and select a plan. That's when I started having issues. The instructions say it may take several hours for the camera to show on the network. I waited 24 hours then went to my hunting property to install the camera. It would not connect to the network. My MA2 modem and my AT&T phones were showing full-strength signals, and I am in line of sight with an AT&T tower. I waited 24 hours and then tried again, same thing. I drove to line of sight of a different AT&T tower and had the same trouble.I went home and tried to contact Moultrie and, being a Sunday, ended up just messaging them. The automated email reply said to expect a response in one business day. It has now been 2 1/2 and I am returning the product.Moultrie products have never given me an issue in the past and I am truly disappointed in their customer (non) service.

Works well with 50% Verizon signal
I first set it up using new Duracell Alkaline batteries and that only lasted 2 days and the batteries dies. I ordered the Moultrie Battery pack box and bought new Energizer batteries (even with the external battery pack kit you need AA batteries installed). It has been taking pictures now for a week and still has 100% battery. The App has been working well and sends notifications when there are new pictures.

Very user-friendly.
I love being able to see what's going on from my computer or cell phone. Moultrie Mobile has two great cameras the XV-7000 and the XV-6000. I own both models and they are performing very well for me. I hunt in Kansas and Tennessee but my home is in Alabama. This makes it very difficult to check cameras every week or two because of the long distance travel. These cameras let me know what is happening on my property even 800 miles away from home. This allows me to plan my trip to Kansas just when I start seeing the big bucks in daytime pictures. I love being able to make adjustments to the cameras without having to go to them. I have a few buddies that are using other name brand cameras and they are always having issues with them and the picture quality is no where close to Moultrie's. I would highly recommend this product.

Side by side comparison with $99 stealth cam proves how bad this moultrie cam is.
ONLY USE THIS CAMERA IN AREAS YOU DON'T MIND GOING TO 2-3 TIMES PER WEEK. I set this camera up right next to a stealth cam, both are verizon service. The moultrie won't stay connected and has sent less then half the pics as stealth cam, and the batteries in the moultrie have had to be changed twice while stealth cam is still holding 90% battery life. I could go on about all the inferior qualities of the moultrie but honestly don't even want to waste any more of my life doing anything involving this camera. Basically if you like paying for monthly services for a product that isn't active for 2-3 weeks out of the month, then this will be right up your alley.

Doesn't work
Product is registered to another person and Moultrie doesn't answer their phones or respond to your messages on their website. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! Returning the 2 trail cams purchased!

Terrible cell service for a cellular camera!!
Not happy at all! I have had many Moultrie products and happy for the most part. Usually price is great so I don’t expect much.I had the modem and camera setup with AT&T service and worked great. Decided I wanted single units rather a modem and camera for each setup. Sold my old modems/Cameras and bought these 6000.I have two properties I hunt. One is close to home the other is roughly an hour away. Both my old units with AT&T had good service 45-55% most the time. I set one of the new units close to home. Took a bit to get service but was working with low cell service. The other camera I spent almost 2 hours trying to get it to work. Would not pick up service! Both locations have good service on phones with Verizon and AT&T. Test both cameras at home and had cell service and would take pictures. I’mI moved the camera to different trees, small and large, edge of a field, used my climbing sticks to place it higher in trees, even drove around to other locations to try service. Sunny Bluebird day. It did pick up service a couple times. Light was green then change. Look on the app and I would have 3% coverage.Yes they are cheaper cameras but I have 20 cameras that I use that are not cell cameras!

Cellular trail cam. Easy setup and great clarity. Great plan for service with many options to choose from.
