General Finishes Water Based Milk Paint, 1 Pint, Queenstown Gray

Great finish, easy to work with. I have used the General Finishes on furniture and love the finish and the products. This color, to me, looks "charcoal." I repainted a old book shelf and you can not tell the book shelf was made of particle board. I really do love the General Finishes products (also love their stain). A can does go a long way if you can produce an even stroke. HINT: less on the brush the better as it does not take a lot of this produce to coat the surface. I have also used this produce with rollers. I prefer brushes but for large flat areas this product works well with rollers. I just feel like I am more efficient with the milk paint if I use a brush vs a roller.Also, great price; I have seen this product for $5-$10 more in stores.+easy to work with+does well with multiple light coats

I used this paint to cover ugly ceramic wall tile in our kitchen. It provided great coverage and I am very happy with the finish. I did not use any primer and it was not needed. Very happy with the results! The attached pictures show the coverage after one coat, and then the finished product after two coats. The paint is also very durable - been a little over a year and no scratches.

The first pictures the look we were going for and not painted with GF that I know of. The remaining pictures are of our bathroom using Queenstown Gray. We’re in love with our version of a classy/chic/girlie bathroom. We painted two paint coats then two clear coats. It’s a tiny bit more shinny than we expected but maybe it’s the lighting- not sure if you can tell my the pictures. However, this paint is worth every penny!! We painted all our kitchen cabinets and no flaking, cracking, or chipping has happen. Very happy with this paint!!!

If you're painting cabinets, BUY THIS! Very pricey but totally worth it. Take it from a lazy DIYer - I washed and lightly sanded my (ugh - 1970's!) kitchen cabinets and that's it for prep. I used 2 coats of this paint and 2 coats of the top coat and they look gorgeous! I used Queenstown Gray which ended up looking navy blue. I was disappointed with the color at first, but it worked in my kitchen and I absolutely love the finished product. It dries really fast which is awesome, and it didn't stink up the house. I absolutely recommend this. I will spend the $$ on this product on all future furniture painting projects!

I absolutely fell in love with this paint. First time I've used it and was on ornate nightstands. Tons of tiny grooves and outside cabinet smooth edges and it handled all of it! really smooth matte-like finish. just beautiful. I plan to buy more for the next piece of furniture! Cannot say enough good things about this product. I also really like their gel stains!

This paint goes on great and dries fast. We have only used it as a test sample for now as we do not know if we are going with gray or java at this point, but great product.

So easy to use and worth every penny to not have to do all the prep work. It's been so easy to use with a paint brush, you can't see any lines. Only did 2 coats, next is top coat. Cleaned cabinets first with Krud Kutter paint deglosser, undiluted and wiped off with wet microfiber towel. So so so easy!!!

This color is lovely. In certain light it appears navy blue. Other times charcoal gray.We love it. :) The product dries fast and, covers well.
