This trimmer head lets me have much longer cutting time between line replacement. I bought one of the cheaper "knock offs" that quickly failed because the line-holding device broke. Stick with this item!

Customer service number on install instructions said closed on weekend and then on Monday 9/13/21 said it was "closed for Christmas" so proves customer service not important if not changed recording for 9 1/2 months. What a joke

I want to love this trimmer head but for some reason mine keeps throwing out the lines sometimes within seconds of use if I’m using it on anything that is heavy or thick such as when I get too close to yucca or cattails. Sometimes I can find them and put them back in but usually I can’t. So it’s a stretch of the imagination that there is a lot of value for your money in this case since you’re going to need plenty of replacements. The blade cutters are pretty durable but they’re not always what’s needed in certain applications. All in all I’d definitely buy again but mine was a bit cheaper at the big box store.
