FITINDEX makes an outstanding smart scale, and their app is one of the best I’ve used for tracking progress—so it only made sense to add this smart measuring tape to my weight loss journey.It pairs seamlessly with the app, connecting quickly every time without any hassle. This bluetooth measuring tape is perfect for those already using the fitIndex app and their smart body-comp scale. The user experience for the circumference measurement portion used to be such a pain to have to find my regular measuring tape, jot down the number, individually input the measurement into each of the 10 slots on the app, have to scroll through the date for each one, and then . that even though I've consistently used their scale daily since 2019, I've only ever had 2 total "circumference" data points because it was such a hassle. Their electronic measuring tape makes it SO easy, you can loop and unloop the tape super easily and auto-log each measurement with the press of a button. Takes out so much hassle! Subtracted a start because the quality of the device itself is cheap - often has a glitchy display and was frozen at first but a quick reset fixed it.

This measurement tool pairs great with my FITINDEX scale, which I bought some time ago. The FITINDEX App is easy to use and super helpful for tracking progress in different areas of your body. I love seeing the non-scale victories!!This smart measuring tape gives accurate measurements and teaches you how to do them. Now I do not have to use a conventional tape measure, which makes seeing true progress less accurate. Definitely, this measurement tool is worth the cost.

It works very well and everything records to the app. But it does turn itself off rather quickly. That's a bit irritating but after you have to use for a bit you get experience from it so you can eventually get your measurements done before it auto shuts off. I don't know about anyone else's item but mine started to break, piece by little piece, right from the first day. You have to be gentle with it as pieces just seemed to break off so easily. I bought this in June but no it's October and its just completely useless now, it doesn't even show power on! You can use it to manually measure yourself but of course why would you when you've bought it in the first place for it to just appear digitally and then send your measurements straight to the app. At least it did last for some months, I guess. I wouldn't recommend it if you need this to keep track of your fitness journey as I have been doing because now you'll be needing to buy another item to help you out after a couple of months, just like I will be doing.

I’ve been manually entering my measurements in the FITINDEX app since I got the scale years ago and it’s kind of a pain. I like seeing the non-scale victories but I’m really random with measurements cause it’s always annoying to find tape and trying to be accurate while holding and measuring. First world problems, amirite?Just bought this smart measuring tape and immediately tried it out in each body area the app tracks and it works GREAT! Sooo much easier! Now I’ll have consistent measurements with the same tape and it can all sync to the same place. It’s a little expensive but I think it was worth the cost.

I have other measuring tapes of similar style (in that they lock around you and can be tightened up for accurate measure) that are FAR easier to use than this one. It’s too narrow AND the mechanism by which it “locks” is awkward and doesn’t have a secure hold.The app based measuring part works well - IF you can get the tape securely around you, which is a real chore with this one!I’ve gone back to recording manually with my other measures - this one is just too difficult and awkward to use by yourself.
