What a classic! Add it to your collection because it is one of a kind. Indeed at this low price. The perfect travel watch. I adjusted the bracelet myself (careful some links are difficult to remove) and now it fits perfectly. If you want to know how it works just look it up on YouTube. Four time zones with the touch of a button. Silver painted resin case and a stainless steel bracelet. Comfortable and lightweight to wear. A digital analog always displays your home time while you glance at others. The world map is unique to help you locate the others. Forty-eight world cities. And it’s waterproof to 100 meters. Amazing!

Back in the good old days with this watch. The manual is bit confusing but you will do well to just follow the pictures and try out each button until you get it. The battery is easily taken out with 4 small screws in the back.

Pros: A good fitting watch for a medium wrist. The function and ease of use is great. 5 alarm and other modes are intuitive once you get settled into the watch. You get a lot for a good price. Cons: Broke a tool trying to remove a link so ended up just fiddling with the micro adjustment. The illumination fades quickly as it reaches the top of the display, but is otherwise plenty readable. Not necessarily easiest to read from off angles.

This watch is the best for those who want an everyday cheap watch that they can beat up and not worry about scratches. The world time function along with the timer and stopwatch features are very handy and make this watch so much more worth it.

This watch is built on a model seen in a James Bond movie way back in the 70's. This is why it is called the 'Royale' as a nickname in the Casio collectors world. I had one of these for a couple years I was modding, and it dissappeared. I had to have another one, so here it is. It's one of the most collectible watches Casio makes and you can get it for under $50, even as cheap as $20 for certain versions. I prefer a stainless steel clasp bracelet to a rubber wrist band. Both sweat but the steel slides enough so I can dry my wrist. The key here is, all of the features on this watch. It's perfect for the world traveler, and fun for the one likes to keep up with world time, or the Ham Radio guy.

Ich finde das Design der Uhr sehr klassisch und ansprechend. Sie bietet viele Informationen und kann auch andere Zeitzonen auf Knopfdruck anzeigen. Die Beleuchtung in orange ist okay aber etwas schwach, außerdem hätte mir ein klassisches grünes Licht besser gefallen. Dennoch ist die Bedienung leicht erlernbar und alles in allem wirkt das Produkt absolut wertig. Auch das Armband lässt sich mit etwas handwerklichem Verständnis und Geschick leicht anpassen, sodass es nahezu an jedes Handgelenk passt. Mein Vater bestellte sich dieselbe Uhr mit einem Gummi(?)-Armband, diese Uhr war deutlich weniger wertig, wenn auch etwas günstiger als die, die ich hier bewerte, falls also jemand noch überlegt, welche er sich kaufen möchte. (Bei der Uhr meines Vaters ist die Beschriftung deutlich schlechter lesbar und wirkt matt, wogegen bei meinem Exemplar die Beschriftung deutlich hervorsticht) Einziger (kleiner) Kritikpunkt: Es passiert schnell, dass man an einen der Bedienknöpfe kommt, einfach durch Handbewegungen, und dann wird nicht mehr die eigene Zeitzone angezeigt, sondern eine der vier anderen. Dies wird aber sowohl an der Miniatur-Weltkarte angezeigt, als auch als Stadtkürzel für die Zeitzone (also bspw. BER für Berliner Zeitzone, LON für London oder NY für New York) Was mich etwas wundert sind auch die auswählbaren Zeitzonen, da sie alle, bis auf NY, sehr nah beieinander liegen (Berlin, Paris und London). Wahrscheinlich für Geschäftsleute die in diesen Ländern verkehren sehr nützlich (wobei auch nicht schwer zu ermitteln) aber für mich wären zB. Australien, Mittlerer Osten und eine weitere amerikanische Zeitzone interessanter gewesen. (Vielleicht einstellbar, so tief habe ich mich nicht ins Benutzerhandbuch gewagt) Leider sieht man auch hier auf der Rückseite 'Made In China', was bei dem Preis wohl niemanden wundert. Trotzdem schade, denn eigentlich habe ich die Uhr gerade deshalb gekauft, weil ich keine Chinaware haben wollte. Trotzdem muss ich neutral hervorheben, dass die Uhr mich wirklich überzeugt und für den Preis wirklich wertig ist und meine Erwartungen sogar leicht übertroffen hat.

Quoi qu'il en soit, pour les amateurs du genre comme moi, c'est une montre superbe, avec une finition incroyable compte tenu de son faible prix et du nombre de fonctions qu'elle offre. Et la réputation de Casio n'est plus à faire en terme de fiabilité. Tout est parfait dans cette montre : l'autonomie (10 ans sur une pile), la lisibilité (de l'heure au moins), le bracelet et son système d'ouverture/fermeture, ses boutons solides, son look, sa finition, ses fonctions, son bip horaire, etc. Et en plus, elle n'est pas connectée et n'a pas besoin d'un smartphone pour une mise à jour...vive le vintage! Alors bien sûr, avec un verre saphir ça serait mieux que du plastique, un boitier en métal aussi, made in japan plutôt que made in china, mais vu son prix, on ne peut pas tout avoir...Et puis il y a plein d'autres Casio à collectionner qui ont tout ça et plus encore....
