Decent to use for your dog :)
I’ve been using these for a short time now and I think they’re pretty great, especially for the price. They work decently enough for my dog who is learning to communicate with them, but I find that they can be hard to activate for her since she’s small. I like that they light up when activated though, it makes it much easier to see and reward when she’s getting it right. Other than a bit more ease when pressing them, I’d suggest making recording the sound a bit less easy lol. I keep accidentally recording over the previous recording by pressing down a little too long. I’m not sure if this is possible, but making it so that the recording is a bit less muffled / muted would be really awesome too ^-^. Overall I’m really satisfied though, I think these are great and especially great at their current price, which makes them more accessible to more people and pets :)

Such a fun concept! Too sensitive to reprogram, but possibly user error
Such a fun concept! Too sensitive to reprogram, but possibly user error. Hold down the button and wait for the beep then say whatever you want to say, release and wait for the double beep. That all works great and it’s nice when you want to change up the noise. However, when you inadvertently press the button too long to hear the sound, it starts the recording process all over again. Not the end of the world, it can always be recorded again, but it would be nice to lock in the preferred recording. I’ll use it around the house for Doug uses such as “let’s go outside” and “I’m hungry”. I’m not sure that my puppy understands the words yet, but he definitely enjoys activating the sound! I can see how it would also be useful as a personalized gift with a loved one’s voice. Again, it would be nice to be able to lock in that personalized recording.

Good buttons. Not made for an excited dog.
These buttons are a pretty color. They are fairly easy to use as you just hold down the button for a few seconds to record. But because they are so easy to use, the dog always accidentally re-records the buttons. So he will get excited for a treat, hold down the button, and then I have to go and re-record the button because he is a dog and doesn’t understand the concept of pressing quickly all the time. Knowing what I know now, I would have ordered ones that you have to press a separate button on the bottom to record if I was going to use them for my pet.

Great but one improvement
I love everything about this but only gave 4 out of 5 stars because to record you push the same button the dog pushes. If the dog holds their foot on the button for several seconds the button records again. Then you have to stop and fix the recording.

Great product
It's a good product. Easy to record on. Easy button to press. I got them to work with my dog to tell me when she needs to go out. I've taught her to retrieve different items for me so rather than her pressing the button she tries to bring it to me. I'd rather have the retrieval so I'll leave it alone. But, I'm please with the buttons and their ease of use. Will buy more if I ever get her to press the button rather than retrieve. :) Oh, fast ship and well packaged.

Great buy and easy to operate!!
These things were a hit at my job! We used them during the football season and customers loved them! They are very easy to record on and over. Battery operated so you can use them for any occasion.

A dog's voice
I got these to teach my dogs to use them when they go out. One dog has picked up on it but he purposely hits them in a way it doesn't make a sound. I had to talk softer as that is the way you control the sound. I did this because another dog would shy away from them. So they can be loud if you want them to be.My grandson had fun playing with them. We said something different on each one and he had fun pushing them to make them say it. It comes with the phrase,"A B C".They are really easy to change the recording once you learn that it just is a matter of holding the button down until it beeps.

Wish it can be more sensitive and white on top
The media could not be loaded. It came on time, and like the other review said it was a bit hard for small dog to push. As you can see this video was taken today after 2 weeks of training. Because I bought 2 sets so hard for him to see which is which, so i use note pad and draw on them and use clear tape. And with his name button, i printed out a head shot of him . i like the sticky note training from you tube first, wish i had done that. I am still thinking should I buy the book, I might, but will see how my own training goes first. At the beginning i started with "snack", and " outside", these 2 words i know he knows them very well. I bought 2 sets, so in case he knows all, so far, i only have 2 buttons unused.Tonight, and last night i would hold 2 buttons on my hand and pre-press the button so he know which one is in which hand, then i ask him which one. First i thought it might be a fluke, but tonight i test 2 times, he choose "good night". So i decided to trust that he knows. As to regard which hand. We did that game many times with food and have him guess which hand. And all the words i use for the button are words he already knows. The only trouble now is he still waits for me to initiate with the button. I do hope you have good luck with your dog.Really want to share, for those of you want to train your dog for the first time.

Decent button, could be better
Pros:- Very easy to use- A good size, compact, portable- Decent sound (you may need to speak closer to the button when you record to get better sound)Cons:- Not as great for pet buttons; the recording can be easily overwritten by your pet if they decide to just sit on it or continue pushing down on the button, which means you need to re-record it again and can be annoying if you have to keep repeating that. It would be better if there could be a switch or toggle that's more difficult for pets to access when you want to record.Overall the button does work as intended, and is more affordable than a few of the other options out there. However, if you have a smaller pet or cat, it may be a little difficult for them to press the button because they need to put a little more force into pressing it all the way so that the button actually triggers.

My cat loves these-- but poor design for animal buttons
My cat actually learned to push the button for a treat! It's really cute and we're trying to show him that he can push it to ask for a treat anytime now!The only annoying thing is that1. they're expensive for just some plastic buttons with low quality sound2. if using for a pet or for kids, holding the button down too long resets it which is VERY annoying when you're trying to train and the pet just wants to stand on it!Do think it's adorable and 10/10 would recommend training your pets on these.

Works as advertised, but poor quality.
I bought these for my dog. They are easy to program and work as advertised. They are for sure overpriced, but my desire to have them for their function justified my purchase. My issue is the quality is quite poor. They seem very cheap and do not feel sturdy. The packaging is very limited, has no label, or instructions. In order to program the buttons, I had to reference this product page for information. My biggest issue is that one out of the four buttons is defective (the playback sound is very muted). Given the others are fine, I wanted to reach out to the seller to see if they can replace one (given they are sold individually) instead of returning the whole package and repurchasing, which again, could result in me getting another defective product. It seems like I cannot reach out to the seller, and the only remediation is Amazon having me return the package. So yes, *most* of the product works. Would I buy this again - I’m not sure.

Not the highest quality, but functional at 23 bucks
Dirty and greasy buttons came looking used. The lights inside don't line up centered on 2 of them. When my dog hits the button, he accidentally hits it a second time and that cancels the playback. Not good. Also, my dog has activated the recording function on his own, clearing my previous recording. Not the best item, but functional.
