it was an interesting surprise when I picked up the package. I could instantly tell these were going to be different. super light. weighed almost nothing compared to tradition dried mangos. the contents though were very sparse. definitely lacking. you are going to eat them all in one sitting is you're treating it as a fruit snack. making this the most expensive dried fruit snack on earth. wont be buying this ever again. I feel jipped. although - probably a good ingredient for creative high end culinary touches. but certainly not as a snack. stick to the traditional dried mangoes. you'll get your monies worth there.

The strawberry flavor was excellent,it wasn't overbearing. Compliments the other ingredients in the frostingI used the in a recipe for strawberry cream cheese frosting

I often buy products from this company. Their chocolate nibs, cocoa butter, freeze dried raspberries, strawberries, blueberries. I recently ordered the freeze dried mango. I love mango, but I disliked this particular fruit for this process. Some pieces are airy light and delightfully crispy. Other pieces, the majority, are hard, but impossibly chewy, but not enough to where you can eat it easily. My teeth hurt later from the toughness. The flavor was dull, as well. I bought the mango flavor on sale, too. Usually it's just way to expensive for a snack. I'll continue to buy the others, as usual, but not the mango. I'm afraid if I reconstituted it, it would have zero flavor ( mango)

I was firstly amazed at how light the bag is. Yes, 1.5 oz is very light and I must've missed that in the product description or else I wouldn't have bought it. Given the original weight of the fruit before drying, they don't have much substance. Needless to say, I bought the mango, banana, pineapple mix. They taste good, except for the nasty tasting banana, shown in the photo. It was melded together, and when I bit into it, found the brown inner core. Shown in the other pic is 2 bags of a different brand that weigh 14 oz each. As u can see, there's not much difference when I added this bag. Notice the white pieces are this brand's fruits. As another person mentioned, the pieces are light & airy, hence, the super lightweight. Could be good for ppl with not so good teeth, since the bananas aren't as rock hard as the chips in most other bags. They would be good for topping cereal in my opinion, not so much for my perosnal mix, shown in photo.

You don't get much for the price. But they are very yummy. So it makes it worth the price.

Only received 1x 1.3oz, not the 12x 1.3oz as described (twice) in listing. Not pleased at all.
