As a Mac professional with a sleek MacBook Pro 16" M3 and Studio Display setup, the Elgato Wave:3 fits perfectly into my minimalist workspace. This microphone is a game-changer for anyone who does frequent video calls, podcasting, or streaming.Pros:Stunning build quality that matches Apple's aestheticSuper easy USB-C connectivity with my MacBook ProWaveLink software is intuitive and great for managing audio sourcesCrisp, clear vocal recording with built-in Clipguard technologyCompact design doesn't clutter my clean desk setupCons:Limited to cardioid pattern (might be restrictive for some)Bass response is slightly under-emphasizedPlastic mount feels less premium compared to the mic itselfThe touch-sensitive mute button and LED indicator are particularly nice touches. For professionals who need a reliable, plug-and-play microphone that looks great and sounds clean, the Elgato Wave:3 is an excellent choice. Highly recommended for Mac users and content creators.Would I buy again? Absolutely.

Best usb mic on the market 👍🏼
I’ve been using this mic since 2020 and What can I say Elgato know their stuff. The sleek look while giving amazing audio quality all while being a usb mic is impressiveThe mic comes feature rich with a touch to mute on topA 1/4 in Jack for audio monitoring (which can also be done in wave link software if you use wireless headphones)And a multifunctional dial that allows you to control the gain, monitor volume and cross fade between the mic and PC mix.The mic comes with a basic but robust stand but can also be mounted to most mic arms. What I believe sets this mic apart from the others is the wave link software that comes with it allowing you to split your PC audio into submixs. Each application can be set to a submix in windows audio settings ie discord to voice mix and chrome to browser. The ability to have both a normal output for yourself and a stream output makes this great for streamers allowing you full control of what you stream can hear as you can mute a submix for stream or for yourself great if you like listening to music but don’t wanna get DMCA strikes on your stream. The plug in support is also nice for the mic and you can add plug ins to each sub mix and mic individually.I would 100% recommend this mic for anyone wanting a great sounding mic out the box that only get better with the software that comes with it.

impressive Microphone, Enhanced by Included Software
I recently got the Elgato Wave 3 microphone and I'm loving it! The audio quality is fantastic, and the setup was a breeze. But here's the real game-changer – the included software. It takes this microphone from good to great. The microphone itself captures my voice clearly and minimizes background noise, making my recordings and streams sound professional. But when you dive into the software, that's where the magic happens. With the Wave Link software, I can fine-tune my audio, create custom mixes, and even add effects. It's like having a whole audio studio at my fingertips. For the price, this microphone is a steal. But the software truly elevates the experience to a whole new level. Whether you're a content creator, streamer, or just looking for high-quality audio, the Elgato Wave 3 is hands down the best bang for your buck. Don't miss out on the full potential – the included software is where this microphone shines brightest. Highly recommended!

Great microphone with a plasticky feel
My main motivation for chosing the Wave:3 is a bit of an odd one... I wanted a USB microphone that was easy to universally mute, and the Wave:3 has a capacitive mute switch at the top of the microphone.I read up on the quality of the microphone, and as is commonly mentioned, it's quite light and plasticky feeling compared with other options, but once you have it on a boom arm (for instance) that's not anything you'd be concerned about.I've heard some quibbling over the aesthetics of the Wave:3 but I quite like the look. It's a rectangle, it has a knob and some lights, and I really don't mind at all. I think it looks pretty good, especially when you throw in the shock mount and pop filter. While I use a microphone heavily I don't do much streaming so I can't comment on Wavelink, although I have it installed and it seems to work just fine. I did experience some odd vocal distortation on an initial install of the software, but that cleared up after reinstalling -- not sure why.Microphone is clear, vocal quality is good. It has only one pattern (cardoid) but it's all you really need if you're going to be the only one talking into it.It would be nice if the body was metal like some of the other microphones I have, and if the cheaper Wave:1 had a capacitive mute button as well, but c'est la vie. If you don't need the mute, and aren't into streaming, there are cheaper options out there that probably sound bette, but I'm quite happy with the purchase.

Better Than Blue Yeti
Upgraded from a Blue Yeti. Worth it. Better quality, better audio, beter design, smaller and just all around better than the Blue Yeti Microphone I had.

Great mic, and you don't look like a tosser using it
Awesome sound quality, super-easy to set up. Excellent value for money. And the best part... you won't look like one of those podcasters with a huge Yeti mic compensating up for a deficiency elsewhere.
