High quality no leaks on barrel

I took an old plastic barrel. Used a circular saw to size. Installed. No leaks. I use the collected rain from a gutter on the house. An area that tends to flood after a heavy rain no longer does. Hook up a hose to it. Open the valve. I use the collected water to water other water starved areas. We need more rain.

High quality part that doesn't leak, but the cost is a bit high.

Installed it on my rain barrel tighten it down good. Later when it rained it leaked can't get it to stop.

Good quality and came with the biggest roll of teflon tape I've ever seen. The valve is nice and shuts off well. The rubber seal is good quality and not the kind that will crack and dry out.

Came with all parts I needed. Have it install in less than 5 minutes

I've been using 50 gallon rain barrels for 30 years and putting a spigot on them has sometimes been a challenge. No more! This product solves the issue. Heavy duty plastics are used and the various configurations will meet most installation requirements. It can easily be adapted to any output size straight out of the box. A 5/8 hose barbed reducer is included as is a 3/4 male connector. The ball style valve allows for very high flow. Great product to add to your rainwater collection arsenal.

I have 8 of these and I have made rain barrel connections with them. The plastic is not very easy to seal and the extra thread tape ain’t great. Getting a good seal ON THE PIPE THREAD is the issue The Bulkhead does seal marvellously. I would use them but users need to know about the poor threads on the internal threads.

This kit includes everything needed. Good quality and works well. Would recommend
