I Read This One Better This Time
Anyone who follows my reviews knows by now that I am a fan of QI, the British “quiz show” hosted by Stephen Fry. This is the third book drawn from the series that I’ve now read. Much like the first book of its name, this one doesn’t quite have the pop of 1,227 Quite Interesting Facts…but I did find myself enjoying this second volume much more. I think I approached it better this time. I only read a few questions at a time rather than trying to read too much at one sitting. I also like the sidebar blurbs better in this volume. This time, they are actual brief transcripts from the T.V. show which gives more of a sense of what makes QI so fun, and takes the reader mentally back to the show. In the end, these books are entertaining and informative, and I look forward to any others that might come along.

Perfect Gift For Readers And Trivia Buffs
Bought this for my husband because he loved the first one so much. A great book to take along on a plane or just for quick reading before appointments or bed time. Very entertaining and full of very interesting, and amusing, facts! A great gift for the person who is hard to buy for. Everyone can enjoy a book like this.

Fun to read
This is a fun book to read. Great for learning trivia, and enjoyable to learn more things I've never know before.

the 2ed book of general ignorance
I ran across the review of these books I bought both and have found them quite entertaining . there perfct for just a quick read an informative . as most factoids are a page or two at best they also have a rather sly sense of wit woven into them .I have and would gladly recommend them anyone who likes there facts strights and not just"THEY say THIS " statements without any idea of they are ?

Interesting and fun!
I love the British quiz show QI and enjoy these books for all the interesting facts...the only thing I do miss is the humor that these facts are presented with on the show, however I can hear Stephen Fry's voice when I'm reading!!! If you enjoy interesting and obscure information, you will love these books! And I recommend that you watch the tv show if you are able to.

As fascinating and readable and chock full of mind-bending facts as the first book. One star deducted for the inane, unamusing and self-satisfied dialogues among friends of the authors that pepper the book.

Not as good as the first one
Not as good as the first one, i found the writing a bit tired and the jokes on the side of the pages a little forced and constipated. Still a good book, but the magic of the writing is gone, it's pretty dry and depleted if you ask me
