I was surprised when I received this stand. It is very well built with a professional look. The bottom support is substantial with a good deal of weight to it to keep it from toppling over easily. The uprights are well polished, straight, and sturdy.

I received this package and it was covered with packing tape and obviously previously opened. All that is in the box is the mic stand base and it's missing the mic pole(boom). I thought Atlas Sound was a quality product and paid more money for the name brand quality. I am very disappointed in this purchase and I now have to spend time and effort to get my money back and find another mic stand.

good and heavy like it should be to keep from tipping over. not real sure about it holding together though. They way it's put together it seems like it gets loose down at the bottom where it screws in to the base. That is going to take some watching to keep it screwed in tight. There was no underneath locking ring to screw on, no instructions either I might add.For the money and for what we need it for it's decent. If you need a real pro stand then look somewhere else.

Over the course of time and many bands I have been separated from several pieces of equipmentincluding a couple of Atlas mic stands. I really needed one to hold my new hot spot, and thesestands are beautiful looking and they work well.
