WowWee Robosapien X

My son loves this! They each bought a robot with their own money, my 8 year old bought the Miposaur and my 7 year old bought the Robosapien X. The Miposaur doesn't have as many sounds or features, but it chases the ball and dances around which my older son loves. The Robosapien has a fairly easy to use controller and dances, talks, karate chops, and does lots of basic things. Perfect for my younger son.

Our 6 year old boy absolutely loved this ( for about 2 weeks) . He thought it was so funny and loved how it danced and walked around. After that he got bored with it. 4 stars just because I guess I'm bitter I paid more than I wanted for 2 weeks of fun.

Cute little Robot and it is kid friendly for use. We got this for our 9 year old for Christmas and he was beyond excited when he opened it up because ordered Wowwee in easy package. So he was excited because there was no picture on the box. The app that can be downloaded in the app store works great and is a life saver when the remote go missing.

I got this for my eleven year old boy.He thinks its the funniest thing on the planet because of the bodily function noises. I gave it an "OK" rating because my boy thinks its funny to let it play the flatulence sound over and over and over and over and over...urgh. I really wish there would have been another noise it could make that would have been easier on the ears.Not saying I'm immune to the bodily function, just saying, "Really WowWee? Really? You couldn't think of anything better? " I wish I was there during that meeting?!?! I wonder if it was late at night after a Taco Bell run? I spent how much on this? and my boy let's it pass gas any old time I don't notice what he is doing. I.e during family movie time, prayers, meals and etc...I will say, that this toy has increased my son's desire to understand things electronic and robotic. Educational product when it's not passing gas.

The remote is a joke. It did not work. The app was the only way to control the robot. Today my iPad updated and the app no longer works and says it is not compatible with iOS11. Can't find an updated version. The robot is now an expensive paperweight.

The robot is fine & still pretty fun, but the iOS app no longer works. On launching the app, it informs you that the app is no longer supported — and sends you to the App Store to download an app that is not compatible with Robosapien X.

My 6 year old grandson thinks this was his VERY BEST present. 6-8 years and its great!

Fun toy. Better than I expected it to be. I got it on sale. I believe it was worth what I paid. 12 year old son (and his father) love it and play battle bots with it and any other RC toy.
